I had been natural for over 2 years and I wanted a blowout. I made an appointment and she told me that she wasn’t going to be able to do the blowout unless she put a perm in my hair. Unfortunately I wasn’t educated on natural hair and I let her perm my hair. Although the blowout straightened my hair, my natural state was gone. I gave her 2 stars because my hair was straight but don’t say you specialize in natural hair and you don’t. Not to mention, the perm made my hair shed tremendously which has led to me having to do the big chop AGAIN. If you’re use to chemicals I would recommend her BUT if you are natural stay away.

I called to make an appointment and the last minute and was offered an appointment before they opened!  Awesome customer service and my hair looks amazing!  Also, the appointment was done in a timely manner which is always good! 😁

I went to her hair salon cause I needed new hair extensions..  I'm so glad I did I'll definitely  come over again. I recommend!

I've been coming to Betsy regularly for about a year now. She is very gentle with my hair and is very knowledgeable about healthy hair practices. Very professional as well. That is very important to me. My husband does not want me to have my hair done by anyone else and makes sure we have money in our budget to have my hair done by Betsy every 8 weeks. He is the ultimate penny pincher, so even he sees the value in her service. Lol. My hair is relaxed, very coarse, and I have a lot of it. She is always able to work her magic on it. My co-workers (black and non black) would often ask me what I was using because they could not get their hair (or their daughter's hair) that straight. They would marvel at how straight and silky it was. I will be going to Betsy's salon as long as she is open. I've never been this loyal to any salon, but she is truly the best I have seen. I love that she has so many years of experience. She was able to put me at ease during my very first appointment. Make an appointment if you're reading this! Lol.

*I was here at the salon when the woman that left the 1 star review came in. What she did not say in her review was that she started screaming, cursing, and threatening Betsy. Betsy even offered to do her hair several times even though she was screaming at her. She would not leave even when asked to exit several times, and she took the cursing out into the hallway where other stylists were working, trying to disparage Betsy to anyone that would listen. It was like something from a Worldstar video, and I am not a fan of that type of "entertainment". Shocking to say the least. I felt bad for her daughter because she had to witness her mother act in that manner. Yikes.

Besty is a very wonderful, and beautiful woman! She's very nice and knows exactly how to take care of your hair! I went there with my hair being a complete mess and left looking gorgeous as ever! She has made my hair feels incredibly soft and healthy. I am not a person that can easily be pleased, so trust me when i say that she has done an excellent job on my hair! I highly recommend her to whoever that wants great service, and that is a picky person like myself. Trust me when i say this! She will give you the best of services! She does not half step at all! Thank you so much Besty! I greatly appreciated your services today!
