The experience I had here was amazing. The hair wash alone was breathtaking. This salon is one of the best salons I have ever been to and I've been to many salons in New Orleans, Detroit, Atlanta, Texas, and Wisconsin. This salon is now the one and only place I will ever go to get my hair done. Jill is absolutely fantastic. All of the beautiful black women here are friendly, courteous, have a good sense of humor and have a very uplifting energy. As soon as you walk in the door it is so very warm and welcoming many smiles and greetings. I encourage all others to come and get their hair done at Taji Natural hair salon don't even waist your time anywhere else.
Now the only bad thing I do have to say, is that I did not get to tip Jill this time. But I do plan to make it up to her on my next visit.

The ambiance is relaxing. They take their time and cater to customers and even have snacks and refreshments. I have had updos, two strand twists with extensions, cornrows and receive compliments wherever I go. Moreover, there is absolutely NO tension or any discomfort whatsoever. The health and care of my hair are the priority at Taji. The shampoo methods are gentle and the products smell naturally good. Excellent!

was my first time here & Patrice (I believe that was her name) did an excellent job putting in Havana twists. Two weeks ago, 3/30, was my second time & more than likely my last time. Samantha put in the Havana twists this time. They were poorly installed. New growth around the edges began showing the first week. There's no way I can keep these one month, much more two months! DISAPPOINTING, for the time (8 hours) I spent getting these twist.

Such a great atmosphere and friendly staff all around. I would highly recommend to anyone considering or is on their natural hair journey. I come from out of the area because I love my experience here so much.

Taji natural hair styling was incredible! Today was my first visit to the salon and everyone was super friendly! Samantha was my stylist and she was amazing!I have been natural for 5 years and I have never had a stylist that had so much knowledge and really took the time to talk with me and answered all of my questions.  I drove an hour and twenty minutes to get there and it was totally worth the drive! I finally found a salon!! Definitely recommend!!!
