This place sucks. Tried to schedule an appointment for an immunization shot, which if I didn't the school would put my school account on hold, and the next available time wasn't for another month...
The staff is incredibly rude and not willing to help. This is the type of service you will expect to get from the so-called "world-class research institution." I don't want a penny of my tuition and fees to go to this center.
Most rude staff I've ever dealt with, healthcare or not. They should be ashamed of themselves. They overbook appointments then blame students for not rescheduling when they are in class all day. Brandeis students should demand better healthcare services.
If I could rate this ZERO stars I would. Tuition is expensive and students have access to rude, incompetent staff. My son was told he had a cold and was given generic amphetamines. Days later was worse and was still told he had a cold. Eventually he went to immediate care and was diagnosed with a sinus infection... needed antibiotics. This place is a joke, Shoiban McLaughlin should not have a nursing license let alone an APN... or a job for that matter.
Staff is difficult to deal with, it’s difficult to get an appointment, appointment hours aren’t convenient for students. Fully unaware why you’d chose to go here rather than anywhere else.
Don’t bother coming early for your appointments. I had a 9am appt and although the health center tells you to come 15 minutes before the appointment, I had to sit outside in 20 degree F weather until 9. Staff was rude and completely ignored me, didn’t even bother to tell me why I couldn’t wait inside. Probably worth the travel to seek care elsewhere if possible.
No one here knows what they are doing or how to talk to people.
Staff are so rude for no reason, paying so much money to be treated like this. They say that they will contact you but received zero calls from them for results.
Almost no time slots open for appointment. What’s the point for having this center?
Nurses are UNPROFESSIONAL
