Brando’s was founded on the premise of great food made from quality ingredients, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere which we believe are the three elements of any enjoyable dining experience. Brando’s is an “Osteria” in the truest meaning of the word. “Osteria” means a place where the owner hosts his guests. The chef/owner, Steven Botta, grew up in Brooklyn and learned many of the recipes used at Brando’s from his mother. Raised in this welcoming tradition, he believes when you enter Brando’s, whether it’s your first time or your one hundredth time, the customer should always feel as if they are dining with family. In creating Brando’s, we believe we have achieved the perfect balance with a menu that is influenced, not only by a particular region of Italy, but by a combination of all its regions with subtle influences of French cuisine. From simple and rustic to the elaborate, all of our dishes start with the freshest ingredients and are cooked “alla minute,” which translates to “cooked to order.” Soulful Italian is the best way to describe our menu. Our culinary team has been trained at the finest culinary schools and has over fifty years of combined experience. From our fresh pasta to our line caught fish to our thirty-five day dry-aged steaks, the difference is discernible. In addition to the food and service, Brando’s has created a unique atmosphere with music and movies. Customers dine while listening to music from classic disco and R&B to Frank Sinatra and Andrea Bocelli, as classic gangster movies play over the bar. We have created a fun environment, while maintaining a warm and welcoming vibe.
