Stayed here recently with my husband and 4 year old daughter. The new owners have turned what was already a gem into a capital GEMSTONE. It's charming, clean, has all the modern amenities you need with the bucolic quiet you desire. Steps away from the superb hiking on Monument Mountain and the dining and shopping scene in downtown Great Barrington. It's a nice place for all ages, too-- stylish, but not overrun with hipsters. And the outdoor fire pit is such a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night recently and it was an unexpected discovery!  Presenting as a typical 50s roadside motel, the property has been revamped into a hip motel which rivals some of the more upscale properties in the Berkshires. Cute, clean rooms and a sweet 'office' communal space in the center, a cool fire pit, and a perfect location right near Stockbridge and just outside of Great Barrington.  The motel is right across the street from the hiking trails of Monument Mountain, which are highly rated in the Berkshires, and also convenient to Butternut ski resort.  We will be back.

Adorable, chic, updated, 50's motel with great free coffee and muffins in the morning. Friendly staff make this place complete. We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't have been happier with our choice. It is directly across the street from Monument Mountain and short drive to local restaurants. Reasonable prices and they allow dogs for a small fee (but you must book a dog room.)

Wonderful place! I stayed there recently with my wife. Location is perfect,  at the bottom of Monument Mountain which has terrific trails and one of the best hike of the region. The motel is clean, edgy and comfortable with a killer gas firepit where we did smores. Management and staff extra nice. Great place all around.
