Let's just say I am so happy that I live in the Philadelphia county. I use to date an officer so I am not going to bash all of Montgomery county officers but I must say that not once but twice I have been beyond unsatisfied with Montgomery county police (Especially this district). What can I expect....they don't have half the experience Philadelphia officers have. I rather live in a city with more crime that has officers that know exactly what to do how to do it and when to do then have officers that rides around all day with no action but maybe a dui. I have NEVER had a dui and my record is squeaky clean so I am not writing this review because I got in trouble. I am writing this review because it's the truth. More than once I have had a lazy experience with Montgomery county. Again....they don't have HALF of the experience Philadelphia officers have. So...I can't blame them for not knowing what to do, getting stuck and sending me to the wrong place. But me and someone at the DA's office actually laughed about it. Once she saw that it was Montgomery county she was not surprised at all.

Put it this way...it's been several years since I had to deal with the Bridgeport Police Department...but in my own personal experience if the police/local government in Bridgeport, PA does not want you to have arms to be able to defend yourself from an oppressive government or anyone or anything else with...or to hunt with...or to target shoot with...well...it will just have that corrupt crook Gallagher...who to my knowledge is still the District Justice there...issue a search warrant for your residence regardless of whether there's actually probable cause to do so or not and then proceed to have the Montgomery County SWAT Team come into your residence and confiscate (try to steal as far as I'm concerned) all your firearms...amongst other things...from you...while simultaneously revoking and/or depriving you of and/or taking away as many of your gun rights as they possibly can in one fell swoop for no real good explainable justifiable reason at all. At any rate...it was my dealings with the Bridgeport Police (namely McLaughlin who in my opinion was dangerously overbearing and overzealous) and it's "law enforcement associates" back in 2010-11 which left me feeling like they were actually much better at creating and/or exacerbating domestic type problems than at mediating and mitigating domestic type problems and ultimately made me decide to go and live in an entirely different state than Pennsylvania altogether. Things which went missing never to be seen again upon the Bridgeport Police / Montgomery County SWAT Team detaining/arresting me and entering my residence at 102 Second Street in September of 2010: 1 IBM Thinkpad laptop 1 Sthil MS 660 chainsaw 1 Phillips MP3 Player and accompanying car charger/adapter Close to $1000.00 of loose change which was in a large water fountain type bottle in my bedroom... P.S. I actually wanted to give Bridgeport's mickey mouse police department zero stars but it made me give it at least one star to be able to post a review...so...

Best intentions aside, cars routinely speed down Front Street and Ford Streed (among others) at 50+ mph to catch the green light with no repercussions. Night shift officers sit at one of 3 locations for hours on end rather than actively patrolling a beat while illicit activity occurs within eyeshot of the department and the officers are never the wiser. Sure, the town is small, but actively patrolling and issuing arrests and citations would go incredibly far in cleaning the area up.

Even though I have not been there, I have always heard that it would have been planned as a field trip. The services are terrific, and had made me feel like I want to join. Five stars out of 5
