Really great education at an affordable rate that can't be beat. I loved my time here. Had a ton of fun and made my current career possible.

This is an amazing school full of amazing people! I feel like I was able to make so many friends here. There is so many activities to choose from so you should never feel bored with nothing to do. If you have trouble making friends, go check out some of the groups on campus. They have always welcomed me in with open arms and made me feel like I was an important part of their group. The professors are almost always nice and understanding and were more than happy to make proper accommodations when I was hit by a car and was suffering from short term memory loss. I look forward to finishing my schooling here and can't wait to start my next semester next month.

You know, I did six semesters at BYU-Idaho. I majored in Communication with an emphasis in News and Journalism. My thoughts and feelings about this university are pretty simple and straightforward. They are as follows: 1) Decent education for an inexpensive price. 2) The opportunity to grow spiritually (if you don't care about that kinda thing than don't attend). 3) The social aspects are horrible--far too many self righteous persons. That pretty much sums it up in my opinion.

I loved my education at BYU-Idaho. The campus is beautiful and clean. The teachers are smart and kind and fun. I loved the religious viewpoint and focus. I was accepted to BYU-Provo as well as BYU-Idaho and am grateful I chose BYU-Idaho. Everyone is friendly and it is such a happy place to be. Savor your time there!

I'll tell you about some of the different aspects about this school: Education: Mediocre I suppose. It seems like many people's priorities are something other than to help us learn. Also, you might not find what you want to study here. Grading is too subjective to have much meaning about what kind of student you are. But, BYU-I can still potentially be a place where you can start an education. But, won't that be the case at every other school, too? Social Aspect: Below average or possibly bad, and potentially the worst for some. It's just that BYU-I has some of the most toxic people that I have ever met. It's really hard to study when you've got stupid middle school drama going on with dating or with roommates (yes, these things will both happen!). The community here lacks depth, or in other words, the community here is shallow. Cost: Good. Going here worked out for me financially. The only schools that might be cheaper could be local community colleges where you get to live with your parents. What is sad though is that, even though you will find cheap prices, you'll still feel like people are trying to suck money out of you. Spiritual Environment: Irrelevant. whatever kind of spiritual environment you can create here, you can create anywhere else. You can watch byu-i's devos online. You can go to church elsewhere. You can have family home evenings elsewhere. You'll find jerks here that will make you question your faith just like anywhere else. The difference is that there will be the occasional class here that will relate itself to the LDS church or its forming. Amenities or perks: Good. There's chick-fil-a. There's a gym. There's basketball courts. There's a library with open computers. There's a large online library website for research. There's comedy clubs. There's concerts. Also, some local businesses are decent. Living: Depends where you live. I think this aspect could be either mediocre, below average, depending on where you choose to live. Adults have to share bedrooms with other adults unless you pay significantly more. Anyways, I hope that helps you decide if you want to go here EDIT: I had to lower the score to 2 stars because it just keeps getting worse. The school has no interest in looking in the mirror and changing itself, but does have interest in defending itself. Because of this, no positive change can occur.
