The police are incompetent at best a joke at worst. I call for local archery laws and a week later no call back and when i called no officers in the station. Ladiers at answering center rude. But this isnt the only thing i had an officer follow me from main street to university blvd doing nothing wrong and with cruise control set for 24 he turns his lights on i pull over he turns around and then turns lights off... At least he turned them off... Another officer i followed from the temple to the willows the whole time his lights are on he isn't speeding or pulling anyone over... I finally got next to him to tell him his lights were on... My wife and i laughed. Heaven help me if i need them for an emergency...

The office staff didn't not talk to me or treat me very well. I discussed with her the reason i was issued a parking ticket. At the end of our conversation about a parking ticket she would not accept my payment and told me to pay it online.

The officer I talked to yesterday was SO friendly and professional and instantly put me at ease. Another time when I just needed somebody to talk to at midnight, they let me come to the PD and just sat with me and talked with me to cheer me up. Earlier this year in the winter when my car broke down on the highway and my baby was cold and crying, the officer gave us a ride to daycare so she could get warm. They are all so patient and professional, you could ask them for help for literally anything and they will be there and not think twice. Great job RPD, keep up the good work!!

Went to get some fingerprinting done. The ladies at the front counter were needlessly rude. Instead of trying to work with me, or provide another solution, they turned me away without even trying. Strange, because I went to the two other buildings for Madison County next door, and they both did their best to find an alternative solution. Both had very kind staff, and I left with other options instead of nothing. Very disappointed that Rexburg has very kind officers, but their office staff can't be bothered to provide general courtesy.

The desk clerk was very kind to me, and if you look up Rexburg crime rate and compare that to the national average, you'll know right away that they do good work here.
