I have stayed for a week and this has been a nice place to stay. Everything seems to be in good shape and the staff here could not be nicer. It is very quiet and enjoyed it.

We've stayed at this KOA a few times and it's awesome. The people are nice year round, their camp grounds are clean, and level. The playground and dog run are awesome. Couldn't ask for a better camp site. Worth the expense.

We paid over the phone, and came in after hours. Getting here from the highway in the dark was terrifying. Steep grades, tight turns. Even the driveway of the park itself was a blind hill with no lights. But the facility looks good, and has lots of good features for a family trip. In fact, the lack of lighting to drive by at night is good when you're trying to sleep. My first encounter with an employee, though... It never fails: I start backing my trailer, and someone who doesn't know what he's talking about comes and tries to direct me. This time, it was a KOA employee, so I listened to him - until I realized he was trying to get me to turn my wheels the opposite of where I actually needed to turn them when backing my trailer. "Turn towards your trouble," I told him, as gently and politely as I knew how, and started backing up. He started yelling that I was cutting the wheels the wrong way, even after I tried it his way, twice, to demonstrate. He was sure something was wrong with my hitch! Then my husband and another random man walked over and took my side, and he listened to them, so we got it in in no time. Was it because I'm a woman? Or was it a sneaky way to try to upsell me to a pull-through? I think he just really thought he knew more than me, and he was confident, and I wasn't, so I listened. It was very kind of him to try to help, but I had been doing fine before he got there, and accomplished it as soon as I stopped listening to him, so maybe next time, he should only speak up if a camper is about to hit something.

The campsites were not level. We had a pull through that supposedly would handle a setup of 100 feet. There were 2 levels to the pull through. Had a 28 foot trailer and a super cab Ford pickup that I didn't want to disconnect for the single night we stayed. Never could get everything level. Was concerned about stability of the trailer because I had to raise the front so high to even approach level...

Quiet place to bring an RV or tent, though you are placed within 15' of your neighbor. Roads and RV bays are made of large gravel (57 stone), which was sharp underfoot and harder on children to play than the concrete and grass bays at other KOAs. Amenities include a very small pool, which was very crowded and rowdy; a small playground and one of the KOA giant air balloons/trampolines - surrounded by a few feet of sand and a picket fence which was a little hazardous for bouncing children to crash into. They offer children's pony rides for $8; you buy a ticket in advance that morning, meet at the appropriate spot and they show up with ponies and start loading kids on. There was no orientation or organization whatsoever so you have to be assertive to get your kid on one before older kids go around twice. There was an outdoor movie Friday night, and popcorn, which was a fun night for the family. Seemed pretty clean all around, decent showers/toilet/sink rooms - just the nozzles are low and emit a sharp stream. Good little shop at the entrance for cold drinks, camping needs and a few souvenir options. Friendly and helpful staff.
