Tower Trail adjacent to park. Small brook runs in park depending on rainfall.

Story

Shady, quiet, peaceful, natural-setting camping where guests can hear the birds sing; watch the chipmunks play; laugh at the squirrels, see rabbits multiply; and whisper as the turkey and deer pass by. Fireflies put on a great show in thesummertime night.

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights to watch football game at ETSU . Really liked quiet private spot. Our site had a new large covered deck with picnic table that we enjoyed sitting under in the evenings. Relatively easy to get in and out but if you need assistance Vega was very helpful. Not a lot of activities for families with small kids but great for couples who just wanna relax. Could hear traffic from I 26 but not annoying.

Wonderful camping experience. Grounds are immaculate, wooded and cool, and every detail is thought about to make your camping great. Not only that, but Rich and Vega are wonderful folks. We broke down on our way outside of Johnson City. They went above and beyond and Rich actually towed our camper to the campsite for us! We initially called to cancel our reservation and Vega just said, "you need a place to stay don't you". Yes we did. We were ready to make hotel reservations with our camper at the dealer. We ended up having a great weekend after all. Thanks Rich and Vega for your hospitality.

Half a century removed from daily life. Lush woods. Street lights at night. Super clean/maintained bath house. Yet Wal-Mart and some restaurants are 2 miles away.

What a wonderful place to stay!! The owners couldn't have been any more hospitable, friendly, and helpful. It was a very peaceful and gorgeous campground with well-kept grounds, very clean and spacious bath house, and roomy rv spaces. I received help backing into the space and even in ensuring that my rv was level. This campground is very handy to Walmart, restaurants, hiking/biking, & area attractions. I'm looking forward to returning to this campground in the future and readily recommend it to others.

Was not even allowed in with our Retro camper because it was not "new". Mid 1990's is the cut off. She asked more questions than a loan officer filing for mortgage! People comment on our camper every where we go. I'm ashamed to tell anyone that this place even exists. After reading other comments we are not alone. Not sure I'd want a creeper taking our picture or stalking us anyway. We had another couple with reservations,to meet us there. They called and cancelled. We will go elsewhere. Beware! Read other reviews. .....
