Cherokee Trails Campground

Story

A beautiful, family run campground at the base of Cherokee National Forrest and very close to South Holsten Lake & River (10 minutes or less).
We offer clean & lovely lodging for tenters, RV's (full hook-ups with water, electric and sewer) and 2 remodled cabins with micro-wave, fridge, coffee maker, air-conditioning and TV.
We also have lodging for your horses with enclosed, clean, large stalls in addition to a large paddock.
Fly fisherman enjoy the close proximity to the river and horse enthusiasts love the many inticate trails close to the campground.
Come and see us....bring your pets too! Pam & Steve

Great quiet friendly campground. RV spots with hookups, cabins, tent sites, barn for horses. Close to Lake Holston for boaters and fishing. Short drive into Bristol. Trails for horseback riding and hiking.

Very Clean. It's in a beautiful little valley off the beaten path. The owner is super nice and takes great pride in his property. He even let my wife use his wifi. We camped but rv hook ups are available.

Great campground off the beaten path. Very well kept. I've stayed there many times. The owner takes pride in his business. Perfect for a fishing trip with the guys or a family trip. Close to the South Holston and Watauga rivers.

Cherokee Trails Campground is a hidden gem. We loved it. It is a small remote campground that normally accommodates people who fly fish, have horses, or go to Bristol for the races. We are none of those, and still found it scenic, quiet, great rates, and adult friendly. Kids are welcome here, but there is no swimming pool, game room, or play ground. I go back to this being quite. The Owner, Steve, is laid back, nice and very accommodating. He is the owner and operator and improving the facilities. The other campers are fun nice and down to earth. Don't be fooled, in our 5 night stay we could have stayed longer there is plenty to do and see. It has trails directly across the street into Cherokee national forest and many more wonderful locations. You can do a variety of hikes, along rivers, to mountains, sections of the Appalachian trail, and water falls. There are 2 lakes near by. There is a short drive and you are in downtown Bristol (TN and VA).
