I am giving 5 stars for the bagels. They are the best and this is the only Bruegger's in Illinois, I believe. The breakfast bagels are delicious, especially the salmon. I do agree that some of the employees are less than friendly and courteous but others are fantastic. It shouldn't be that way and it is up the management or owners to improve upon. I smile at everyone no matter what attitude they have because no one is going to ruin my day or taint my joy no matter what. But I do think that disgruntled employees should leave or be lead out the door because if they can't be happy doing what they are doing, find another job. Doesn't ruin the taste of the bagels for me!

After several visits I finally am writing this review. The employees here are terrible. The service is so slow and rude. Never greeted when walking in and met with rude responses from employees and they seem bothered to even be working. They are always out of ingredients and don’t offer alternatives. I mean it’s a bagel right? Slice it, toast it, put a little cream cheese on it but leave out the attitude please! Oh, and by the way. The star is for that last bagel I got. It wasn’t the bagels fault some crappy employee served it to me!

Went here this morning for the first time because I've been really excited about trying lox and bagels.. the sandwich completely exceeded my expectations. I bought this and also the western for my mother and I to try, but after the first bite I wanted the smoked salmon all for myself... will definitely be returning to try more sandwiches

They didn't have ingredients for the first two sandwiches that I ordered, with no apology on being out of those ingredients. I ended up basically creating my own sandwich with the options that were left. Service was incredibly slow. Would not recommend

Salmon with cream cheese on a Sundried tomato bagel. Good customer service!! Salmon was great. Would've been 5 lets just say. Hairnets recommended please.
