We had a lovely romantic evening, great choice of wine, although very expensive compared to English prices. We shared a great cheese board and humas and dips. Lovely staff.

Walked in on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm and was asked if I had a reservation. It's a bar.... who makes reservations for a bar? Especially one that has open seats at the bar? I was told it would be an hour to seat my wife and myself for a glass of wine sans food. It wasn't like my wife and I were dressed like proletariat insurrectionist or anything strange. Walked down the block to Hotel Monaco and got a bottle at The Vault with no wait.

Super chill and beautiful spot to just enjoy some wine with a few favorites. Very intimate atmosphere perfect for great conversations. The selection of food was nice too.

This was my first time at a wine bar, and I gotta say, it was pretty great! Showing up on St. Patrick's made the place a bit empty, which was completely fine. Our server, I believe Dominick, was super chill a ND down to Earth. Our party of four was new to wine, and he gave great recommendations on what to try next, and came by and talked with us a bit every now and then. My party and myself are not from Utah, and probably won't be by ever again, but we'll never forget how great the experience was here (and Salt Lake City as well)!
