This establishment is a joke. The older woman working up front immediately refused to let us sit down. Would not even ID us. I'm 25. I asked to speak to the manager and she rolled her eyes as he apologized. So disgusting. I will never be back and I DO not recommend this place to anyone. Melissa should not work there.

Filed a very strong complaint against waitress SARAH N. Was almost ready to call the police. Very rude and racist woman. This place has great potential but their wait staff needs to be fired immediately, especially this woman.

My husband and I decided to give Market Street another chance. We ate there on our last wedding anniversary. We love seafood, and coming from the east coast, we keep hoping to find the best out here. We understand that it won't be as good as what you get living on either coast, but Market Street advertises what we've been looking for. Unfortunately on our wedding anniversary, second year trying this place out, Market Street does not live up to the hype. We tried the South Jordan location last year. Tonight was an epic fail for food at the Downtown location. Iceberg lettuce salad with a flutter of pretty greens to fool you, plus a few carrot shavings and oil on top, no flavor. Crab cakes were more breadcrumbs and fluff than I've ever seen in my life from an acclaimed seafood restaurant. $25+ for a crab cake dish...should be at least 90% lump. I picked through the sad cakes to find the lump. I've worked and eaten in the business for decades. Take it or leave it... We're choosing to LEAVE IT.

Sarah is not on her game when it comes to customer service she's more interested in getting you out the door and especially on her weekend night! Last thing you want at the end of the week is to go to your old "go to" because you absolutely love and enjoy going there to be treated like here's your ticket, get out! We've been going there as regulars FOREVER and since it was a Friday night we went there to enjoy a meal and some wine. My boyfriend still had a full glass of wine and so I asked if it was possible to get another one to which she completely ignored us and gave us our check. It's not like the old o.b., it's now a cold corporate cold environment. If this is how a local regular now gets treated imagine how you'll be treated...Salt Lake City has Lots of restaurants popping up all around that are amazing!!!! Go elsewhere!!! May I mention a few else such as HSL, Mediterenia, Stanza, etc.???
