This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is second to none and the atmosphere is really cool. My wife and I had an amazing time but there is one downfall to our experience, I had made reservations and even noted that it was our 1 year anniversary. Not one person there said happy anniversary and from my understanding we were supposed to get a treat on you for our 1 year anniversary and that didn't happen. I'm still giving 5 stars because I will continue to come back with hopes of maybe a little closer attention to detail.

This place is a delight! A lot of the bad reviews on here are from people who did not understand that this restaurant serves family style, so when you order something a small order is for 2 or 3 people to share and a larger order is for several people to share, and meats, veggies, salads, come seperately, you order one for everyone to take from, thats why some dishes are just meat with nothing else with it. The kitschy decor of the place is awesome and FUN! It's a rare find and wonderfully amusing. Whoever designed this chain of restaurants is awesome!!! I had a small lasagna, enough for me and the person I went with, and a third person if there was one, so I had leftovers. It was very delicious, not real fresh tasting, more old fashioned tasting. The oil/vinegar dip for the bread had an awesome taste to it! The walking through the kitchen thing was totally quaint and fun, not something to complain about like I've read on a couple of reviews here. It is meant to be FUN!!! Hello people?!? I thought it was obvious that it was done to be quaint and fun. So, great atmosphere, great food, and much less expensive prices when you eat family style and don't order a whole plate of chicken and expect to have it all for yourself, ( really people? If you ordered meat, a side, and salad, you would realize when it came that it was enough food for an army! Not one person!) Although, I admit, it took me a few minutes to realize they served family style because our server did not stress to us that that is how you order, I just noticed the words "family style" on the menu and how the meats didn't come with anything and it finally triggered in my brain that you were supposed to order one of what you wanted and split it up between everyone, I guess that's how the Italians do.

Food was great, server was great. The only issue was how long it took for someone to greet us. We were standing there for over 10 minutes before anyone even said hello.

If you are in the mood for some rat pack music and large family sized portions, loosen your belt buckle and kick your diet to the curb. This is carb city with lots of fun framed photos and art on the walls.
