Story

Cafe Efendi brings the delicious flavors and historic cuisine of the Ottoman Kitchen to Alpharetta, GA. We are a Mediterranean Cuisine with a Turkish twist. Our culture in our kitchen is not to over power our dishes with so much herb and spices, but have the herbs compliment our dishes.

Mediterranean cuisine with Turkish influences is one of the largest ones in the world, as well as one of the healthiest. We prepare everything from scratch using the freshest ingredients. We use tons of extra virgin olive oil, fresh vegetables and completely Halal certified meats.

That is my first time in Atlanta and it was first cafe which I visited after my flight. Wonderful place, peaceful atmosphere. The owner was super kind and friendly. I'm not a big fan of hookah but it was super good one and the taste was lasting for a long time. If I come again to Atlanta, I'll definitely visit that place again!

This place is amazing. The food is so good! And the service was out of this world. The owners happened to be sitting next to us during Saturday lunch and saw that our hookah coals were getting low. They kept going out of their way to change them and get us whatever we needed. They even brought us their own concoction of tobacco to try. I definitely recommend the mixed grill entree and Karma Turkish Cabernet. You would be missing out by not giving this place a try.

I went to this restaurant this past Friday, and I ate the Chicken Kebob. the next day I was sick with stomach pain and diarrhea. I never felt so bad and lethargic the entire day. I remember, that a foul odor was coming from my friends plate that she ordered Shrimp in the skewer. She even said this smell funny. I have not spoke with her to see if she is OK. Overall, it was an unpleasant event. The prices were OK, but even the rice was not authentic basmatic that is usually offered in Mediterranean Cuisine. I will not be coming back.

This place is one of the best Turkish Restaurants in Atlanta! The owners are really nice people , they are so friendly all the time when i walk in. They have belly dancing on Fridays and Saturdays and there hookah is really good! :)
