Budget Car Rental

I picked up my rental car this afternoon and immediately could tell this car had not been cleaned. The rings from a gps were on the windshield, there were food crumbs in the drink holders and on the seats. An empty V8 can was in the backseat floor board. The previous rental agreement was in the visor, sticking out. The car also had ashes all over the dash and didn't smell to pleasant when I turned the air on. My family and I are non-smokers, so this bothers me as well. The exterior of the car was filthy as well. I went back in and told the employee the car was dirty. She came out and collected the can and said it must have been stuck under the seat. Well if the car had been cleaned, the can would have been discovered being it wasn't under the seat when we got in the car. She did not seem to care the car was dirty. When you pay money to rent a car, I view it like renting a hotel room, you don't pay to have a dirty room. I am very disappointed with Budget and probably will not rent from them again.

Budget rented me a car in Casper to drive to Denver International Airport. Being young, I made sure to ask not once, not twice, but three times to ensure I would not have a problem renting a car when my flight returned. The gal at the desk reassured me three times that I would have no issue getting a car. When my plane arrived in Denver, I was told that the Casper location had no authority to make me that promise. I was stranded 300 miles from home, and the customer service I received was by far the worst I have ever experienced. This service cost me a lot of time, money, and sanity. Would not recommend to anyone. There was no attempt by 3 supervisors to make my situation right, or even offer an apology.

I will avoid Budget at all costs. I paid $100s in repair because I didn't check the car carefully, and they didn't check it with me. It was early in the morning. It was not in the spot they said. I didn't pay attention, and I paid big time. I will NEVER use them again if I have other options.
