One of Olympia's hidden gems! Great for picnic's or a day at the beach, or both. Meandering trails through the forest leads you to a lovely beach that is great for everyone and spectacular views of Budd Inlet and Olympic Mountains. A great place to enjoy the Pacific Northwest.

Cute, tiny beach secluded by a small hike through a forest. Mostly people with kids at the park, which had covered tables to set up a picnic that include outdoor grills. It's posted that you can rent each space for parties but it seems as if they are to be used by everyone unless someone reserves them. There's recycling, composting and garbage cans everywhere and it doesn't seem to have dog walkers so the fear of planting your feet in a hot one is nonexistent. The beach is small and covered in river rocks instead of sand, which as a native Oregonian I'm okay with. There's private beach signs posted if you walk too far but the locals don't seem to notice them. I loved this park.

Little rocky but extremely beautiful scenery. Playground is great for children. Swimming okay but do not eat any shellfish you find!

Beautiful park with a nice playground. The beach is really nice but not handicap assesible be prepared for a walk and some stairs. Bathrooms were pretty clean for a public park. A great outing for the kids with room to run and play.

Lots of wonderful walking trails with access to the beach. Ample parking, play area and covered area for group gatherings. Great place for dogs and kids of all ages. :)
