We visited this park for the first time and loved it. Was z an easy trail to walk. The view of the bay at the end of the trail was awesome with great spots to sit and enjoy the view from. We saw harbor seals, dozens of blue heron, a pair of eagles and a coupe of deer.

Beautiful area with short trails. If you want a long trail, the western chehalis trail is just right up the road.

Beautiful views, nice and easy walk, no dogs, bikes, etc. Fantastic spot for a picnic, bird watching, and beach combing.

Nice walking path that leads to the water. Beautiful and serene. A bit of an incline. Upset they don't allow dogs, it'd be a great place for them to run off leash, but Olympia is behind on the times on this front. Oh well, nice place for a jog or quiet moment.

Easy access for WA state Dept of Natural Resources permit holders. Walking / Hiking only with the primary trail being paved its I'll length. Nearly flat, easy sloping trail at 8 tenths of a mile from parking lot to pier / cove view point.
