This is definitely one of the most down-to-earth independent bookstores I've been to in a while. Just the name itself hints at the warm atmosphere you feel once you walk in. There's a great variety of books, many of which the store hosts the authors for frequent book signing events (which are always a good time). The events are laid back with plenty of opportunity to get acquainted with both the authors and the owner of the store. And there's FOOD! Really good food and champagne at these events. The owner is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home when you walk in. She loves to strike up conversations with her customers. I'd say you can expect to enjoy your experience at this bookstore.
