Excellent Rating for Burke and Herbert Bank. I have banking with B&H for over 20+ years and my parents have for over 50+ years. There are many attributes we love about the bank. Their longevity, their customer services, the simplicity of the bank. Which brings me to "simplicity", I recently just received my new debit card for renewal, I noticed right a way that the picture or face of the debit card has changed. I called the B&H to inquire as to whether I could request the original picture or face of the card, which has the bank in Old Town on the face. I thought this is a great representation of the Bank and what they stand for. It also stands out from all other "bank" cards, "credit" cards etc. I was sadden when I was told by the B&H representative that we have no options to request the "original" face on the debt card. I was told this was "company policy" while I completely understand "company policy", I don't understand why we are becoming "one of those other banks" in looks with our debit card. I believe we can come together in numbers and request to have the option of choosing a different look/face on the debit card or the original look. This isn't asking too much. After all our bank is in it's own category and why shouldn't it say that way is the small areas, which over the years has. At the time I called about the face of the debit card, I was told that there were other customers who had requested the same, how many other B&H customers would like to have the option to request the face or a picture of the old historical Burke and Herbert Bank building on the front of their card? I think together if we ask for this small change, perhaps Mr. Burke and Herbert or our current president Mr. Scott McSween would consider a small change back to the original face. Small, but meaningful. So thank you Burke and Herbert for a consideration of change in advance! Another loyal Burke and Herbert customer.

I opened my first checking account with them 2 years ago...For years I couldn't get an account anywhere in my area because of the fact that my credit is not so great and as a result I had no way to save my money and pay off what I needed to pay off...My boyfriend took me to Burke and Herbert and they accepted me right away and the process to open my account was so easy and uncomplicated... I love their customer service and how they treat their customers like family and the fact that they have been owned by the same family since day 1...The way they run their banks is the way every business should be run...

They should let Burke and Herbert Bank run the US Gov for a few years. This bank is amazing. Love you guys...

I love this small Bank. They are over 150 years old and still owned by the same Family! Their customer service is excellent. I have been dealing with them for over 13 years. They were the only ones that would lend me money to start my business in OT in 2000. No underwriter and rediculous piles of paperwork. Taylor Burke went wth his gut and just said yes to the deal. They have been critcized for not being up to date technology wise. But in recent years they have caught up and still retained the same friendly faces and great service. While every one else has been undergoing musical chairs in recent years B and H has remained steadfast, adhering to age old proven principles of banking. I recommend them w/o any reservation.
