Burlington is my go-to place.There's an awesome selection of items at good prices, everything from clothes and shoes to home décor.And  there's a lot of stuff on clearance, way cheaper than the mall. There's usually a wait because the store stays so busy but the customer service is good.

Customer serve needs tremendous work. Two registers were open and about 10 of us were in line while 3 other employees were working on a clothing rack. No acknowledgment of us standing there waiting, after 15 minutes Adeoijah (or however her name is spelled) opened her register to only ring one person and once she was done, quickly went back to putting clothing on a rack. I went to her register because it was still many of us  in line and I refused to wait an additional 10, I was already agitated and to make it worse she had a nasty attitude and was very unprofessional and act like she didn't want to help (why work in customer service if you can't even acknowledge a customer or provide good customer service?). She didn't apologize for the wait and even forgot to take the security tag off of the item I bought. When I called, I asked to speak to the manager about the bad customer service  she lied and said he would be on vacation for 4 weeks. No worries though, I've written a complaint to corporate regarding this and will never shop at this Burlington again.  This store needs to re-evaluate how they treat their customers.

I use to love this store because of the great service, but I feel like its going down hill. I use to be helped by Josh, Gary, and Cheryl all the time, but I don't see them anymore. The newer staff isn't the nicest and the store feels empty with bare shelves and racks.

While I won't complain about the prices or selection, I will complain about the service. I literally waited 20 minutes to be rung up with only one other person in front of me in line. The cashier(because there was only one register open) was forever slow. The people in front of me had 5 clothing items, it should have not taken me 20 minutes to be rung up. Really the worst part was when the cashier told me that since a barcode wouldn't scan I would have to walk back to the toddlers section to get a similar item and wait in line again. It's not my fault that a barcode wouldn't scan, the price was clearly marked, and I shouldn't have to wait in line again. I ended up not buying anything because when I got back to the front, after walking to the back to get another pack of socks, there was 3 people in line and at his speed I would have been in line for another 30 minutes, being 7 months pregnant and how hot the store is in there(I was already sweating) it just wasn't worth it.

Poor Poor Poor!  Predominantly black area speaks for itself.  Take your hard earned $$$$ to VA or elsewhere.  The manager Robert S. is the worst, let alone he is short.  Go figure.  Customer service is the bottom of the barrell.  You've been warned!  A bunch of junk!
