The staff at Buttercream are welcoming and informed, and the selection of baked goods rotates often. I was very impressed by a walnut olive oil cake on one of the days I went. Overall, the selection of baked goods swings towards the sugary-sweet side, rather than the more fruity or savory side (think caramel brown sugar brownies with sprinkles, vs almond thumb cookie with raspberry jam) and so it is not generally in alignment with my personal preferences, but what they produce does appear to be good quality.

As long as you do not have any particular flavor in mind, you should be cool. They only cut a few cakes per day so you are screwed if you want a particular flavor. Parking sucks. Cake is pretty good....

This place was excellent. The pastries were so tasty. The service was also really good, very attentive and even warmed up some of our pastries.

I really liked that Happy Camper. It tasted like an even better s'more and I love s'mores. The white gooey part was so much better-tasting than your traditional store-bought marshmallow. The lady that helped me with my order was very nice and apologetic when she was busy with a phone call with another customer and seemingly forgot that I was there but she was the only staffer available. Bless her!

Looooooooove their cake and cupcakes! These people are top notch and make high quality baked goods, you will not be disappointed. I got a gorgeous unicorn cake from them that was a huge hit with my friends and I got myself a cotton candy cupcake that was the absolute best.
