Stumbled upon this place walking back from the national art museum. It looked interesting. It looks like a European style cafe bar. They had a wide selection of pastries and a great selection of hot food. They also have gluten free pastries to eat. The coffee was very good. I wish they had one in nyc where I live. It would be nice to be able to go there, sit down and relax while watching the world go by.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! - My wife took me there for brunch. She was so excited that she discovered a new place, but little we knew. We walk in around 11:25 a.m. for late breakfast. We asked the staff if we were still on time to order breakfast, since we were aware they serve breakfast only until 11:30. Very friendly they replied there was no problem. We grabbed the menu and moved aside from the line so we could decide what to eat, so far so good. It was my first time there, so it took me a couple of minutes to decide what I wanted (literally not more than 3 or 4 mins). Once we were ready, my wife approached to the front desk and started ordering, only to be abruptly interrupted by a lady telling her in a VERY rude manner: ‘we are not serving breakfast anymore’. My wife explained we asked about breakfast before grabbing the menu, and the lady again replied very rudely: “well, they were wrong”, she was being plain rude so we asked for a manager, and GUESS WHAT?! she replied: “I AM THE MANAGER!”, when we explained that we were just told we could still have breakfast and she, the manager, replied: “well, tell me who said that and I will have a conversation with that person” - the rest of the staff was SO friendly, of course we didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus! - So we just stopped the conversation and left. That’s was my first experience at Paul. Other than that, all I can say is nice decoration.

You want to know how a croissant tastes in Paris? Congrats, you found it here. And $2.50 for a real french croissant and a good coffee is considered a fair price. Good seating, nice to sit at the window bar and stare at the traffic! Was this helpful? Or even funny? Give👍

The first time I tried Paul was in Brussels, and while I think that my food both there and in the UK was a bit better, this location is very nice (spacious) and has the same selection as over in Europe. 👍🏻
