Before and after the name change By Line Bank has always provided me with excellent service.

Overall, NCB was not a bad experience until it changed to Byline Bank.  Ever since the merger, there have been changes to rules, additional fees, and poor communication.  I finally stopped doing business with the bank when they added new fees to an account (without warning).  After they rectified the fees and explained that the account was in good condition and fees would not happen again, the bank deducted larger fees from the account.  

It felt like a dishonest place to bank.

I have needed to speak with someone at North Community Bank for two days regarding my townhouse association's account there. I have not been able to physically go to the bank, I just need to talk with someone. I have called them four times and each time gotten an answering machine for customer service. I have left a message and no one has returned my call. My complaints are 1) that for two days I have not been able to get a person on the phone and 2) no one has returned my calls.

I obviously cannot recommend North Community Bank.
