Scenery was AMAZING. Beds were super comfortable and despite the "old state park" feeling in our small room, it was well worth the money. The food in the dining room was waaaay better than we expected. Good selections on sale bar. In fact, it was such a value, with excellent service..I recommend eating at the lodge restaurant even if you don't stay or golf!

A friend and I enjoyed an early morning nature walk and I was very pleased to see no litter along the trails and roads. We were not sure where exactly the trail we wanted was, expect for "near the golf course" which took no time at all to find. Cacapon has signs at every single intersection so you can easily find your way to any location. The signs also feature "Park Exit" which is very helpful when navigating back out, especially after visiting multiple locations. Over all, Cacapon is a very pleasant atmosphere and one I absolutely love visiting.

The cabins are so beautiful and home feeling. I would definitely plan another stay and they have so much stuff that you can do. All of the people that work there are so nice and helpful.

Very good place to take the Family Getaway and and have a beautiful day it's a great place you've got to try it and you'll love it too I like a piece of peace and quiet and you get peace of mind great fishing 2

This State Park is such a BEAUTIFUL place. You can fish, boat ,hike, horseback ride, golf, camp and various other activities here. The view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking in the fall....ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS...
