Best chips I've had in the States, the salsa is good also. The chips might be saltier than some like. The portions are generous, I usually get a take home tray. So how is the food? Excellent. Better than the big neon sign mega Mexican restaurants that are popular in Mississippi.

My favorite Mexican place on Earth. Its an unassuming little restaurant with outstanding food. The owner/chef, Alex, says he cooks "like my Mother used to make it in Mexico." When my father-in-law introduced it to me he said, "it's REAL Mexican food, not that Tex Mex." Over the years, my favorite dish has gone from the Chihuahua Burrito (no, not named for the contents), to the Beef Chimichanga, to the Mexican Plate (chili covered tamales) to the Chicken Enchiladas, and now the Tacos. The food definitely won't make you healthier, but it tastes amazing. And the homemade chips and salsa (5 stars) are not like any you've had before, I promise. Check it out!

Even though I've been eating there for over 18 yrs I've noticed the salsa is extremely hotter and I can't tolerate that intense heat, and No, there's no other option unless you want to pay $6.95 up for a small bowl of that not good for your health fake cheese dip or avocado dip, which Unfortunately, they're always out! The prices are higher and the portions are drastically smaller! Seriously Junior, I'm so disappointed in My little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. My recent visit had only one server which is normal and she tried her best to accommodate my needs with placing a to-go order. When I got home we were all shocked to find what we had was so significantly and I do stress the significantly, less than normal size and the quality of flavor of the meals were no longer as tasty as they used to be! My dinners were all dried out and we each only ate half of our small meals and threw them out into the garbage. This has happened too many times! What a waste of $60 Shame on Azteca for changing everything we have grown to love! I'll go elsewhere from now on. You've lost loyal customers! I'll NEVER recommend Azteca again....

Stop in this place on the way home from work about 6:30 PM. Just wanted to see a menu to get something to go. There was one waitress and no one else in the place. Stood there for 10 minutes waiting as the waitress chased her child down to discipline him. Then she goes into kitchen and don’t see her again. Oh well. That’s the only chance they had with me!

I've had dinner here several times and it has always been good. Chips and salsa are the best around. Authentic style Mexican food. Service has always been good at dinner time.
