I love this place! Some of the best Ted beans & rice north of NO. The fried crab claws are wonderful. Sometimes the sugar in the rum sauce for bread pudding isn’t completely melted. But the rum sauce is RUM sauce!!!

This place is awesome got to meet the owner Claudia she was a delight and Mack out waiter knew the menu very well and his suggestion were right on. I would highly highly recommend anybody trying this place you would not be disappointed.

Food was amazing. Seafood pasta was some of the best I’ve had. Will definitely recommend this Cafe to anyone

We came on a Saturday night around 7pm. Parking was easy to find. When we got into the restaurant there were plenty of seating, we were seated right away. We started off with fried alligator since they don't do it blackened. It was good, but there were more batter than meat. My bf ordered the seafood plate, he got everything fried except for the shrimp, he got that blackened. It wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either. I did like the stuffed shrimp, but it tasted more like a hush puppy with shrimp stuffed in it. I got the catfish ponchartrain. The catfish was blackened and topped with crawfish etouffee. It was okay, I honestly enjoyed the baked sweet potato and sautéed veggies more than the fish.

I wasn't wowd by the food. But many seem to like it. You should try it. Maybe it's your type food. Service is decent enough to enjoy the the place. I'll go back if that's where my friends want to go.
