Literally to die for when the food comes out hot. Pea sprouts are perfectly crisp, garlicky, and the hot oil makes it juicy. The fish is silky, the pork is crispy some fatty parts, and the eggplant has a fermented fish crumble that is absolutely a welcome contrast to the savory eggplant. Set with hot tea, it was an entirely enjoyable and filling lunch!
The Buddhist delight dish really did fill me with delight. Fast and friendly service. Felt like went above and beyond. Carp fish was super tender and flavorful, I had no issues with bones. 0 need to add anything at all to flavor.Food: 5/5
Gotta say the foods were pretty good and for the price wise….. you can’t beat it! Sautéed pea shoots, crispy garlic chicken 1/2, clams with black bean sauce, steamed carp and chicken fried rice with salted fish. Three of us, five dishes, only $76!!!Food: 4/5
Passed by many times! Met friends here for early lunch Saturday 3/18/23. They have been here before and recommended. The service was good and good was delicious. There was only one mistake. We ordered the steamed carp fish with a different sauce and received it the way it's normally prepared. The person who brought it to us said the chef must have made a mistake. He didn't go back to check and see if the one we ordered was still being prepared. About 10 minutes later someone else comes to our table with the correct dish and we said we already received because we were told that there was a mistake. It was fine since it was good that's why I am not taking away from the stars I gave. I would definitely recommend and go back.
Stopped by at Cafe Hong Kong for lunch to enjoy a nice Chinese meal. Ordered the Schezwaan Chicken Rice Plate with a request to make it spicy. The ginseng tea served on the side was a lovely addition. The Chicken however was not spicy, the broccoli pieces were too big. Not the best Chinese I've had, but made for a decent meal. On being asked for a bill, a $12 paper bill was presented inclusive of tax for a $8.99 dish. Tip was not included and no clarification was given, on questioning they rushed it by saying that tip is included. Check your bill while visiting here. One of the few cash only places I visited.
So many vegetarian options . Loved the veggie stir fry and fried tofu dish . They also gave complimentary soup for the table .food tasted good . They had turn table , very ideal for family style lunch and dinner .
We missed Chinese food so we decided to stop by this high rating Cafe Hong Kong and we weren’t disappointed. Their lunch menu offers lots of choices at very reasonable price. Portion is big and quality is not bad, very good value!! The restaurant was at full capacity when we arrived at 11:30am. Staffs are polite and service is good. Highly recommended!
The dishes here are very good and shouldn’t be overlooked. Most people come here because the popular places around the neighborhood are fullguilty of that, but every plate we ordered was delicious. I recommend the spare ribs here! We had around 10 dishes and wasn’t even over 300 dollars. Also, if you’re looking to have a private party, they have rooms downstairs. You just need to book ahead of time. Great time here !
Super good lunch specials till 4pm. We ordered the braised carp with tofu and the fried chicken in garlic sauce and it was SO MUCH food we didn’t need to eat dinner after. The carp was tender with crispy skin yum! and the chicken was great to. Really good value for 9.95 each. You will not leave hungry. Service was also very good -we dropped a chopstick and the guy was always on his way to get us a new pair.
Great value for the food you get! Awesome deals for their lunch specials running from 11am-3pm daily.
