My main complaint was my contractor Roger justus was the most unhelpful uninformative uncaring person I've ever met. Messed up numerous things didn't fix them. He made my whole buying experience unbearable. Horrible person and contractor.

I just started hearing about this builder and thought I'd go check out what they have to offer. I love how they think of everything when it comes to building a home. Their models are beautiful! I still need to check out their reviews, but I love what I saw today.

So after living here for just about two months it has been nothing but disappointment after disappointment first it took them a month to replace our patio sliding door which was suppose to be fixed before we moved in but then they said it would be the next day and the next day turned into the next day , so monday turned into Friday , friday turned into a month later,  then when they came to fix the patio door,  i warned them about the cox alarm before they started, they busted our alarm on the door and my wife said they tried to act like it never happened, but luckily my wife was down stairs and saw it happen.
They could not repair the alarm , so I had to call cox and schedule a appointment for them to come out and repair it and so I did not get a repair fee , I had to add a warranty to my cox plan so I wouldn't be charged a $100 fee for something I had just got installed a few weeks prior, 
Then after using the granite counters in the kitchen,  we noticed dark stains near the sink and we asked cal atlantic if the granite was sealed and they said it was, and that water takes time to dry, 
The sink has been dry all day , several days and it is still dark all around the sink granite.
Also we did not notice how difficult it would be to find parking , especially on weekends at our own home, also I did not know until the day we moved in that , there are no street lights , only the lights from the houses, so the streets at night are very dangerous to walk around and to drive on .
To make it even worse cal atlantic has called me over 20 times, in a month from different phone numbers from florida ,trying for me to submit a review for them , when they called I was always at work, the few times I answered and told them days I was off, but they didn't call me on those days, instead calling me every other day or sometimes every day , I felt harassed in a way
I think I ended up giving them a 4 out of 10 rating, but then another situation,  the worst of all happened on 11/5/17 sunday , so my review with this situation would be a 1 out of 10
We had ran our upstairs bath tub about 2 times, just to get the dust out of it , since we have not used it since moving in on August of 2017, then my wife filled it about 1/4 full of water for the first time ever and my daughter from downstairs came running up
The ceiling was dripping water from upstairs bath and it was leaking onto our brand new kitchen table, the ceiling from the dining room downstairs has a t shaped crack about 3 ft by 3 ft wide and paint is missing and there is bubbling also in the paint.
Something is seriously wrong and we have only lived in this home for a little over 2 months, only have had 2 months of mortgage payments , this is a 2017 new build home
We shouldn't have to worry about this kind of stuff , this early
Not to mention cal atlantic is still building homes and supplies have been being dropped off and being left in the streets,  i picked up a nail in my car tire , driving through their construction and had to get it patched
We had a outside company do a home inspection before we moved in along with cal Atlantic's inspection, because before buying the home we researched and saw a case where someone said they had only lived in a new home for a few years and when they went to sell it, the inspection came back that the frame was not built correctly and It said cal atlantic did not cover or help with the situation and the family lost out, look it up for urself if you need to ,
Cal atlantic has been notified of the ceiling leak situation and 
I will be submitting another review on how cal atlantic handles this situation and the time period it takes them to complete repairs correctly that were unecessary and preventable to begin with
Hope this honest review helps with home buyers, because a perfect 5 stars from people that actually haven't lived in cal atlantic homes or that do not leave detail and just 5 stars don't have the 1st hand experience,
