I really wish the CHP would take heed to these reviews. It is not the figment of people's imagination that there is one officer ( the fat guy) that is really rude. I would not be surprised to hear that is office is or will face a law suit. Having people like this work at places dealing with the public puts the city at risk. I'm sure if you follow up that CHP will find that this guy is not up to the job that he currently holds.

Everyone I spoke to was extremely nice and helpful. I had an appointment, but I arrived a little early and they took me before my appointment time. Waiting area is small and old, but the chairs are comfy and it was nice and cool.

Went to get tail light tinted writen off, an old bot to be rude but fat officer then told me if I had windows tinted, so I replied by saying yes, he then got an attitude with me and told me he can write the tail light off but will give me a ticket for the windows tint as its illegal to have them, I simply asked that I didn't get a ticket for the windows tinted and that if he had a window tint reader he is more than welcome to test it, the officer replied very rudely by saying he doesn't need it and all front window tints are illegal but when I told him why he has to be rude, I wasn't rude and as a matter of fact I was very nice, I even said "Hi, good morning officer, how are you today" and that I was simply repeating what the government site says about windows tint being that it has to let in 70% of light but your telling me different than what the law states, its just a little confusing. The officer replied by saying he gave me an attitude due to me giving him an attitude about what his telling me. His supervisor came in after the old fat man (not trying to be rude but thats how he literally looked like) came and said that the only legal front window tint is if its factory and even though the law states that light must be 70% thats an old law and they dont go by that law only the law that states any glaze is illegal and he understands it's confusing. This place is horrible in service, very rude and bullies you by also treating you by giving you a citation.
