We bought a bike for our teenage son here. They were awesome as far as what to get and how to take care of it. That was awesome enough but his bike was stolen from Cal High last week. Today we got a call from Dublin PD that they found his bike! There was a sticker for the shop on the bike so the police called California Pedaler and they tracked us through the serial number. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your awesome customer service!

Cal Ped was my favorite bike shop in Danville to visit. Service was always great and quick: you could get your bike tuned up and returned to you on the same day!

I bought my Trek Madone in 2006 with a "life time" warranty on the frame from California Pedaler. Well, I had a issue with it recently and John and the crew had me a brand new 2014 frame with in a weeks time. Now, that is SERVICE. And the newer model rides like a dream. I bought my 1st mountain bike (a DiamondBack?) there years ago (late 80's?) and loved it so much I wore it out over the following 5-6 years on Mt Diablo's steep terrain. What a blast! I was riding mtn bike #3 on the asphalt "Iron Horse Trail" recently and picked up a goats head thorn in "thorn alley" on the southern part of San Ramon. Not having any tire repair equipment with me (doh!), I hobbled into Cal Pedaler and they dropped everything to get me back on the road, er, trail. They certainly didn't remember me from years ago. I never lived near them so I didn't exactly hang around the place (I lived and rode on the Clayton side of the mountain). As for the "very good" ratings (vs excellent), I'm not signaling a complaint; I'm just leaving room in case I run into something better some day.
