Family owned and operated in the same location since 1977, Camelot is your hometown jewelry store with full service on-premise repair, including custom design, casting, remounting of diamonds & gemstones, and gemstone replacement. We specialize in repairing fine jewelry as well as costume items, sizing, soldering, refurbishing, and jewelry design. We also specialize in engraving, including glass engraving and custom logo engraving.

We have used Camelot Jewelers for over 15 years.  I have always found everyone so kind and helpful.  They are the first place I go to get advice and get repairs done.  Great family owned business!

I took a graduation ring in to get my name engraved on it. The ring was my dads from 35 years ago and his name was already engraved on the ring. They said it wouldn't be a problem, but then I received a call a few days later and the engraving machine had apparently messed up the name. They tried to polish out the name and restart.  When they polished out my name they scraped up my dad's name and parts of my name could still be seen. Even though they ring was damaged, when I went to pick up the ring I spoke with the manager and he was very apologetic and offered to polish it again or pay for the postage to have the ring sent to the manufacturer.

I took a Chelsea Bell Clock to them for a check and repair.  They kept it for several weeks and when it was returned, it was obvious that the insides had been wrecked.  I took the clock to a Swiss Watchmaker who told me he would not work on it because of the damage done by Camelot.  I just got the repair estimate from Chelsea and it will cost $1100.00 to repair.  I still don't understand why the Camelot person didn't just refuse to work on it in the first place rather than doing further damage. I will never take anything to them for repair nor will I ever go there to purchase anything.

I went in to have some pearls restrung and asked for the necklace to be 16 inches even though it had been 18 inches as well as a single strand.  When I went to pick up the pearls, they had strung them 18 inches and charged me $50!  The piece of paper with the necklace clearly said 16 inches.  They went ahead and took another week to make it 16 inches and come to find out each pearl was knotted and it was more expensive and they still charged me $50.  There was not really an apology or any reconsiliation.  I feel I was way overcharged and did not get what I asked for.  I will never go to this jeweler again.

I highly recommend this family owned Jewelry Store with over 30 years of experience. If you are looking for a staff of people who genuinely care about the customer you will be very satisfied with your experience at Camelot Jewelry. They are a refreshing change to the self important, overpriced competition that is focused more on their revenues than the needs of their customers.
