Story

THE MUSEUM SCHOOL curriculum offers art classes for both adults and youth. Following the success of the Clay Studio (now entering its 8th year of ceramic instruction under master artist Hiroshi Sueyoshi), The Museum School has expanded course choices suitable for beginners or those with varying levels of experience. Study options include drawing, painting, art history, mixed media, photography, sculpture, creative writing, and yoga. In addition, the Life Drawing focus includes a punch card system allowing access to Tuesday night and Wednesday morning drawing or painting groups, meeting with no instruction.

The Cameron Art Museum furthers its education mission by providing both high quality exhibitions and The Museum School's broad range of classes taught by highly qualified, inspiring, local and guest instructors.

Created by Light exhibit. At first glance it's nothing but a wide variety of photos packed together in a box. There are wild vixens, photos of the past, the KKK, death, creation and even a girl's face being smashed into the ground. It felt like a smorgasbord of photos. I contemplated what it all meant (if it actually had meaning) and I realized the answer is quite simple. Light is life. Without light we would be unable to exist. No matter what the circumstance is without light we have no images we have no existence. 4 stars because the guy is the un-tailored suit was definitely following me.

Cameron Art Museum has created a very interesting atmosphere and community activity schedule. Regular concerts and hands-on art workshops. Their café has an excellent cook and a good bar selection. I love the museum store's unique gifts too !

Do not go if you have young children. The ladies at the front will make you feel very unwelcomed. Will not be back!!!
