It's a pretty good place to eat Mexican, the service was great and tea glass never went empty. Food was served quickly and was hot and fresh! Some of the chipotle wine sauce is on various items and could not be taken off, bummer for me as it's not my thing. The server assisted me in a alternative choice...much greatful!
Easy convenient location to get to. Clean and cool environment with plenty of seating. Nice clean restrooms but with black toilets. Food looks great as in the presentation is well delivered. The queso is basic velveta queso. Honestly, I think it is the worst queso in town. The service was excellent but that food was a no for me. Mine lacked flavor other than too skimpy too hot verda sauce they put on the top of my enchiladas. No one wants that much raw cabbage on their food nor do they want boxed rice with their meal. The crispy pork bowl had scorched meat to the point it made it taste awful. I don’t think I will be back. Maybe this is like Superior and people go here for the drinks!
I had high hopes for this place but it didn't live up to my expectations. I was invited here for a business meeting and was looking forward to try it. I enjoyed the chips and salsa. The chips were thin and the salsa was roasted. I ordered a trio of enchiladas but they were just average. They rated a 10 on presentation but the food was just ok. Being a higher end Mexican restaurant, I expected better. The food just wasn't that flavorful. I would like to go back and try something different to see if my opinion would change. I would go for the chips & salsa but not the food I ate that day. Service was quite slow due to a business party of 20+ and only one waitress taking care of us.
Excellent Mexican food! Absolutely the BEST tortilla chips I've ever had. OMG we ate 2 baskets of chips The Ahi tuna tacos were delicious and the enchilada/taco combo was equally delicious. Will definitely go again!
The absolute best place I've ever had in the shreveport area! Definitely go check them out! They have daily specials, happy hour, Sunday brunch, a private room and the best patio area around!Food: 5/5
Didn’t know what to get for lunch. Had a great experience for lunch today. The food came out fast, and looked amazing. My server was wonderful she didn’t even have to write our food order down there was 5 of us. It came out 100% correct great job! Ebonye. So, we order dessert since we still had time before going back to work. There was also the General Manager came around to speak to us, she was lovely. She was running food and refilling drinks. Will be returning so.
This is my "friend group's" FAVORITE place to unwind! We meet at the bar several times per week. Caleb is a professional, attentive and fun bartender. Manager Britni truly cares about the customers. You can see her every evening checking on all of the diners/guests, refilling food/beverages, running food, sweeping and providing great support to the servers working. She is very proud of her restaurant. We love them both!
We had reservations for a large group 20 people on a busy Friday night. The staff and manager were so accommodating to our group. The drinks from the bar were on point and the food was excellent. Definitely will dine here again in the future.
I enjoyed the Acapulco. Chicken Enchilada with sour cream sauce, cheese Enchilada with chili sauce. It also came with a beef tamale and a taco. I was full before I could eat them. The side items were beans and rice. I took the leftovers home to be eaten later. Thee service was nice and so was the atmosphere. I came as lunch was ending. There was not any lack of service.
Cantina Laredo is one of our favorite places. I’ll have to do an update when we go for brunch one day. This was date night. Rudy was our server and was excellent! The restaurant was clean and not loud for being busy. We sat close to the kitchen so there was a lot of traffic but didn’t bother us any. We ordered top self guac and Queso to go with our chips and salsa. All of which was amazing. I swear their guac gets better everytime we come. I had the carne asada and I changed it to come with asparagus and zucchini my other half had Camaron poblano asada with came with shrimp and was stuffed full. The meat in both dishes were tender and cooked to our liking. For dessert we tried the churros with 2 sauces. The food was amazing tonight! Truly satisfying & the service was fantastic!
