I cannot describe how freaking perfect this place is. The atmosphere is super cute, a cute location. The patio is great and pet friendly. The service is top notch; attentive, friendly, anticipates your needs. The food. Oh. My. Gosh. We were not disappointed in a single bite. The avocado toast is packed with flavor, the bread isn't hard or chewy, a full avocado on it, so not chincy with their ingredients. The brunch burger. Perfection. It has a nice spice but is not beyond comfortable to eat. The perfect balance of all of the flavors. Yall. Do yourselves a service and go here! You will NOT regret it! Perfection! Chefs kiss!
Got the Chicken and Pancake... The spicy chicken was spicy yet the grease had to be old. It tasted like it was fried in old fish grease. Yet the wait time is what killed us. Over an hour to get our food, the Waitress wasn't as attentive as you may expect.
The food was good but our server Suzanna was not. Hopefully, if we return, she will not be there. I definitely liked my patty melt - good job with the cooking staff.
Ate here for the first time on Monday evening for a private dinner and I must say the food served was absolutely delicious. I had the grilled chicken with mushroom gravy with rice and asparagus on the side. I'm not big on asparagus, but I even ate all of those off the plate!! I was VERY impressed with the quality of food and service! For dessert I had crème brûlée, which honestly I'm not a fan of because I don't care for sweets, but even that was made to perfection! I'm not sure if the food here is this good on a regular non-special day, but I will definitely be back again very soon, and will be adding this place to my list of regulars to dine at! Hands down one of the best places I've eaten at in the Shreveport/Bossier area!
Kim was really good on explaining the menu and recommending some dishes. Was very disappointed in the brisket chili because it looked more like chopped hamburger soup. Things turned around immensely to their favor when we got the ribeye steak. It was fabulous and I would put it up with other fine restaurants that offer ribeye steaks. Mine was done medium and perfect. I was able to cut my steak with my fork and didn't even bother looking for the knife. My wife likes her ribeye rare and it still had some moo in it. The augratin potatoes were so hot that it burned your mouth like a McDonald's coffee. After it cooled off and thickened up it was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant to others and we will be returning in the future.
This was our very first visit here. We weren't aware that Sundays they have brunch only. This created a problem for my SO as he is a VERY plain eater, but he branched out and tried the chorizo brunch burger. I had the breakfast brunch bowl with brisket along with the truffle fries and pepper cream. Everything was very good as well as my mimosa. We also had the mini chocolate bundt cake. So good! Will definitely revisit on another day. I hear they have the BEST chicken fried steak in town. 2 entrees, an appetizer, dessert, a mimosa and a beer and we got out for less than 50 bucks!
I absolutely love the food and our server Ivy was amazing. The appetizers, OMG!!! If you ever want great food with a cozy atmosphere and super awesome staff, this is the spot. Thank you Ivy for everythingeverything
I hate doing bad reviews because but we waited 35 minutes before we was greeted by our waitress. When she arrived at our table she got our drink orders in a rush and didn't have answers in reference to the menu. Asked if she was New she finally smiled and walked away. I then called her back and advised if the drinks were already made we would pay for them. she brought ticket back 10 minutes later and never asked what the problem was. We never felt so unwanted in a restaurant before. But I guess it's a first time for everything.
The brisket chili tasted like dog food and looked like what was in my toilet I had to rush to after getting home.
Service and food is always amazing. Go for brunch and take the kids. Ask for Anna. Get the cheesecake jar for dessert. Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
