very nice owners! The cottages are nice and kept clean! The grounds are taken care of and it is in a nature filled area close to parks and a river!

We LOVED this place! From the very well equipped kitchen to the friendly staff and awesome location, we are already planning on coming back next year and hopefully bring more family members with us. This place was the best place we've stayed yet in our 4 years of coming to the Black Hills.

We recently stayed in one of the so-called cottages.  It was clean and relatively inexpensive.  That said, it was very basic with no frills so perhaps you get what you pay for.  There was no pool, no phones in the rooms, and a very slow, wireless internet connection that didn't always work from our "cottage."  

As far as calling these units "cottages," you may need to use your imagination a little.  I certainly don't know the history of these units but they have obviously been there for a long time.  A few appear to be private residences.

The staff was friendly, provided maps, and other information.
