This is a review for the campground. The reason we stayed here was because it's right on the lake - and that part of it is great. The view was awesome too, overlooking the lake and hills covered with cactus and other desert vegetation. That said, it was not without issues. There was nobody there to greet us when we arrived to check in, just a closed gate with an empty guard shack. Eventually, someone drove up on a golf cart and said we had to pull away and park in the corner of some lot, then walk to an office to check in. After checking a few of us in, a woman came out to let us in the gate, but by the time we got our trailer and drove up to the gate, she was gone and we were stuck, yet again, not being able to get in. Not the best start. The people were friendly enough though. The park itself is fine. There's a row of sites that are super squished together, then some newer pull-through sites with more room (we took one of the pull-through's). The bathroom was just a pit toilet, but was fine and clean enough. There's a large grassy area between the trailers and the lake, which is really nice - lots of room to spread out, play games, or whatever. You can have fires in the fire pits, use their picnic tables, etc. It wasn't the most relaxing spot, though - between the road that runs right by the park, and the lake that was totally covered with jet ski's and power boats. We tried to paddleboard on the lake, but there were way too many power boats for it to be any fun - but I'm sure it would be great if you were in one of those boats. We didn't go to the restaurant that's at the marina, but it looked okay - mostly for the view I think. I wouldn't stay here again, but it's not a bad place, depending on what you go for. No sewer hookups. You can pay $20 to have someone pump it out, or just drive to a nearby dump station, which is what we did.

Posted pic with complaint contact info on them. I am so upset that these people get away with such dirty grounds, and VERY RUDE & ABUSIVE behavior. NO SEWER HOOKUP. NO RV DUMP on site. Porta-potty were FULL and smelled horrible when we got there Friday afternoon before the weekend crowd. Showers were not draining and filthy. Dumpsters were already full. Flies and bees everywhere from garbage. Expensive per nite since not full hook up. Arranged for camp ground service to come empty holding tanks over Memorial weekend. Office said machine needed to be repaired. They would service our RV when fixed in a couple hours. Office said didn't need to be there when they emptied our RV tanks. I SPECIFICALLY STRESSED to dump both grey and black. I asked older blonde lady IN PERSON to please make a note to do both. She then told me their history and gave me guys' resume in how they are "experts" in dumping. When their machine is fixed they will service our RV. She stressed we DONT have to be there. I told blonde we were going to be on the lake all day and that would be great. They partially dumped black holding tank. Was still 1/3 full. Grey was still FULL. Staff that does this leave early and were gone at 3:30p. Tank was close to overflow. Asked the mechanic that was still working where nearest dump was. They said it was in A.J. So, if we were going that far we may as well just go home at that point. We searched and couldn't find the older man that was gate attendant to ask his advice. We had no choice but to find a R.V. dump. Called Monday morning to ask why they would only partially empty one tank and not both. Asked the older blonde lady why she didn't make a note like I asked to be sure it was done. I then realized it was her I was speaking with. She was VERY RUDE!! She asked if I paid for the service? I replied no, and reminded her of what she said, "if the machine was repaired the staff would service the holding tanks and we could come in and pay the next morning". The RUDE blonde woman replied "then what's the problem"?! You never paid for the service. I asked why the "experienced" staff would only empty one tank? I asked her why she didn't make a note on the RV service order like I requested? She was VERY SNIPPY and started telling me ALL the problems they were having that were more important than "my holding tanks" then asked me "were you at your RV to make sure it was done when my guys came out"? She then began venting and STRESSING how "THEY WORK SO HARD!" Avoiding my issue all together. I was so astonished at her tactics I just hung up. Well lady........here's a bit for you.............WE ALL WORK HARD!!! We are all there on our vacation weekend with our toys spending our HARD EARNED $$ at this campsite! You need a FEW lessons in customer service. I can tell you have been in that position awhile and your service lacks. You have a chip on your shoulder and your word meant nothing because of the actions that followed. We don't care to know the challenges of your job. We know it's a busy weekend. If your staff was so busy & overworked then you don't have enough staff. I'm there trying to leave my job for a restful weekend and I took my boss hat off when I left my job Friday afternoon. Here's a free bit of advice for you and your staff......People on vacation DO NOT CARE to hear your tale of woe why things don't go well under the poor management. If you need to be rude or bitter because it gets "busy" then it's time to find a new job and let some fresh staff come in. It's evident you don't like your job. You complain over the phone to a stranger that simply asks why something wasn't done as requested. Hang up your hat because you do not wear it well. We love the lake. We love jet skiing, boating, and fishing. We will always return for the lake. We have visited for many years. We will just have to be more efficient and resourceful next time. We know we can't count on the staff there.

Rudest customer service i have ever experienced. Dude singled out my family as we were waiting to get picked up by our boat. Bearded guy was demeaning, sarcastic and power hungry on top of calling us names under his breathe while he went to get the owner from the office. When we were approached by the owner, he lied and said he was directing traffic yet all we asked for was direction and were essentially told that we, out hundreds of people on a busy holiday, couldnt be there. Ive been there before and was forced to pay for a dented propeller that a prior guest had messed up. Thinking it was a mistake, we tried visiting again and left with them threatening harrassment and assault charges and our cars towed all because we asked for help. We were respectful and even had other people come up to us and say that the bearded guy didnt bother anyone else so why us? The owner didnt even hear what we had to say before screaming at us to leave and causing a scene by waving his hands in the air and getting in our face. The bearded guy then told me to "go to hell" while i carried my daughter back to the car. Like I said worst customer service i have ever had.
