I've been here on several occasions for a few years so I think I can make an honest review. If you ignore EVERYTHING about the room, it's a fantastic motel. The view is spectacular and the rates are somewhat reasonable on that basis alone. The rooms are a little bit less attractive. The beds are just roll away cots with detached headboards that are screwed into the wall. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors sniff. The showers are the exact same that you'd find near a public beach to spray sand off your feet. The towels are tiny and feel like 800 grit sandpaper. The lights flicker like a horror movie. The carpets might as well have been painted on. The staff is curt at the best of times, and rude at the worst. The only reliably pleasant person on staff is a parrot. I keep coming back because the property itself is lovely. It's just a shame that they don't do anything about the "no fuss" rooms. If they fussed just the a little bit I'd gladly come back more often.

The rooms were very clean. All the rooms offer ocean and sunrise view. The view from our window was very soothing. The beach is right in front. The staffs are very nice. They have a talking bird at the breakfast area. We loved staying at this hotel.

I absolutely love this place, every room has a spectacular view of ocean , literally right on beach, it’s cozy an homey & clean, I’m very picky regarding beds, as I don’t usually like hotel beds.. but their beds are soo comfy!! Doesn’t matter which room, I sleep 😴 great listening to the waves 🌊 an smell the fresh air through my slider door,Waking up to see sunrise 🌅 over the water!! Every morning they put out fresh coffee muffins & donuts!!! The staff is so friendly an helpful!! Plenty of things to do an see an very close to Rockport.. this beautiful island is my ZEN place an I’ve become a regular visiting once a month for some rest an time out!! I highly recommend!! Two thumbs up 👍 👍!!!

Only hotel on the beach in the area, three decker, every room has ocean views and beautifully sun rises, with a view of twin light houses. Parking is free with stay.

Beautiful views of the Atlantic  Ocean and Long beach. Very friendly and helpful staff!! Especially, Lisa!! She went above and beyond to help every guest she came in contact with!! They're very lucky to have such a hard worker and caring person working for them😄
