On Saturday, October 7th, we went on a five day cruise to Bermuda from Cape Liberty. Upon returning, our car, which we parked in the garage would not start, weak battery. I contacted an attendant who called for help. Shortly after, the maintenance man arrived and jumped the battery, starting the car. He was extremely friendly and professional and would not accept payment or a tip. I was very impressed with the service in the garage and in the Port. Thanks again!! Michael and Sara Weiss

Mostly easy peasey. Drop wasn't well marked , but still easy. Personnel well prepared. Pick up very easy.

New Jersey's cruise port at Bayonne Cape Liberty was the most disorganized, inefficient, and bureaucrat cruise port I'd ever went thru. It contracted a company called "Ceres" to unload the luggages when our Celebrity cruise arrived at 8AM on a Sunday morning. People had to wait for 1 1/2 hours to get their luggages even though they were all ready on the floor to be picked up. All the luggages were separated into groups 1~17, 18~35, 35~52, and some special individual groups as 53, 54, 55...where each group had at least 50 luggages, rather than allowing people getting their luggage as soon as a group was done, they made people whose luggages in the group 1 to wait until group 17 was lined up on the floor, and group 18 to wait for group 35...and so on. Some workers even used one hand to drink their coffee and the other to pull the luggage from the piles at 8 feet high up on the carts to drop to the floor. They did not care if the act could damage the luggage or its content or not. To add salt onto the wound, the immigration line were a mile long due to there were only 4 out of 20 immigration windows opened at 9AM. People were separated into two sides, one side had 3 windows to go to, and the other side only had 1 window to go to. There were also no lines to distinguished "foreigner" or "US citizen". So, everyone got stuck behind those questionable US entry passengers, and therefore making the already overcrowd hall even more congested! In addition, the cruise pier was the only few in the world where it had no Free Wifi service! The pick up/drop off area was so comparatively restricted where only 5 cars at a time allowed to come in and out to the curb to pick up/drop off people. The access road from the outer area to reach the pier was a one lane path! I couldn't imagine the car line with 2 to 3 thousands passengers from one cruiseship trying to reach the cruise terminal at its peak hours! This experience felt like in a 3rd country, not the United States, the world most advance country!

Probably the most organized cruise port I've been to!! My husband and I left our hotel early because we knew there would be a line of traffic and sure enough there was. But even though there were a ton of people the lines moved very fast. We went through Royal Caribbean on the Anthem and the boarding process was very quick. Make sure you have your set sail pass filled out online and upload your identification photos at least 3 days before you sail and all you have to do once you get to the port is check your luggage and then get a stamp on your set sail pass and you can board. Took less than 15 minutes for us.
