Capital Heat services all makes and models of heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and geothermal systems. We provide services that ensure your home is comfortable year-round, including insulation, duct cleaning, whole-house stand-by generators, boilers, hot water tanks, radiant flooring, heat pumps, sump pumps, and air quality systems.

I am very disappointed in the company. Capital heating and cooling installed a central air system. since the first night i realized something wasn't right the A/C literally never shut off, According to the owner RICK it is running correctly if it never shuts off... I am lucky to get a 5 to 7 degree drop from the outside temp. after many service calls with them saying its working fine. I have decided to get some other companies to see what the issue was, each and every company is telling my that the unit is undersized based on the load calculation. After contacting the company all they do is deny that the unit is undersized and that they are correct. This company is unprofessional and have ZERO customer service.  I will be contacting the BBB.

I have never been more disappointed with a company in my life! I had a new furnace and AC unit put in late last year and had issues from day one. It started off with a chimney liner being installed when it shouldn't have been (this problem was corrected after NUMEROUS phone calls and threatening to contact the BBB, unfortunately it was AFTER I had already lost a tenant due to not being able to turn on their space heater thanks to the chimney liner) When I purchased the new units I was VERY specific on how I needed big enough ones to heat and cool the ENTIRE house one day because we planned on converting our double into a single and it made more sense to get them at that time rather then buy a whole new set down the road. They assured me that the units would do what I needed and even insisted I call them when we needed the duct work done (the unit upstairs has a space heater) So, since we lost our tenant and I ended up becoming pregnant with twins , we decided we might as well start the process of converting into a single starting with the duct work. So we call Capital Heat, they (Philip) come out to give us an estimate (over 2 months ago) says he will email it to me and NOTHING! So starting last Monday I have been calling to try to get in touch with him (a total of 3 phone calls and guess what??? NO CALL BACK. I have a warranty on both units so naturally I probably cant go elsewhere to have this duct work done because it will probably void the warranty on them ,so in the meantime my children (ages 13, 4 , and 3 MONTHS!) will end up with barely any heat in our bedrooms because I trusted this company. But I spoke with another company today about the duct work and now I know why Philip isn't calling me back.....its because the units I was sold are NOT capable of handling what it takes to heat and cool my entire house like I SPECIFICALLY asked for when purchasing these units. Well played Capital Heat, well played! This time I WILL be contacting the BBB especially since I wasn't even given an ounce of respect to get a phone call back to say that you made a mistake and to try and find a solution to this problem which just makes it look like I was taken advantage of.

I really am very disappointed.  I have 2 heating systems in my house (1 for each apartment).  The upstairs has baseboard heating and requires a boiler.  Downstairs has a furnace.  I decided to replace the boiler and furnace, then I heard that with a furnace you can add central air so I did that also.  Everything went well until the installation.  Upstairs after they got the new boiler installed, they turned on the system to check it.  There was a leak in the one line which caused water to damage 2 ceilings in my tenants' apartment.  Yes, they fixed the ceilings, not the leak.  That line is not in use.  Now downstairs they had to come out 3 times to fix gas leaks and some other issues.  They failed to tell me when I asked about the central air that their system requires a 220 line, my home is an older home with a 110 line.  I did have someone out to "inspect" the home and go over everything with me and he had to determine the crew that was needed for all the work along with an estimated time frame.  I called the company when I found out and talked to a "supervisor" and I just informed him about the electric.  They sold me a central air unit that I could not use unless the electric was upgraded.  I gave them 2 options - remove the central air unit or upgrade the electric.  They chose to upgrade the electric for a line to run the central air.  I still have a very faint smell of gas.  Now I went to use my central air last week.  The unit has a leak!  All the free-on leaked out and that caused the condenser to burn out!!!!  Now I have to wait for them to order the condenser, come back and install that and check for leaks then fill it with free-on so I can use it.  I got the central air for medical purposes.  Thought it would be easier to have 1 unit instead of several air conditioners in the windows.  I am so sorry I went with this company.  The supervisor or anyone has yet to contact me to apologize or anything for my inconvenience.  

When I had the boiler system put in, I didn't have this problem with "another" company.  I had it installed - complete system and a new furnace.  I had to have 1 service call - that was it - just 1.  They put an electric start on the boiler and I haven't had a problem.  I should have called them again.

A very big SHOUT OUT to Capital Heating and Air.  Capital's Sales team, engineers and Installers were courteous, proffesional, hard working, caring, and careful with our property. They totally exceeded our expectations.   I highly recommend them as well as Mitsubishi. 

I went to 5 local Heating and Air Conditioning companies for A/C solutions and estimates.  Capital Heating and Air provided us an awesome plan for Air including engineering assessments.  They determined proper unit sizes and compressor along with best installation location for our home.  Because we have a split level house, they recommended 4 Mitsubishi wall units and one compressor.  Even so, their estimate was the lowest of all the estimates and they did exactly what they promised, I.e. installed when they said they would, took great care to ensure everything worked as we expected, and charged us exactly what they had estimated. 

No haggling necessary.  The Mitsubishi wall units are fantastic - quiet, efficient and very responsive.

The install tech was on time, professional,  experienced and did not leave a SPECK of trash on location. I thougt that  the price was competitive, with a higher quality product. Had furnace installed in less than a week. Overall, I am very happy with my experience. I highly recommend Capital Heat.
