If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The Capital Hilton is well placed if you want to tour the Capital Mall, near Metro or a short walk. Service at the hotel is excellent. The executive lounge serves a decent breakfast, but isn't sufficient for lunch (Olive salad, cheeses, that sort of thing). There were plenty of nearby restaurants so we didn't try the restaurant at the hotel.

The good: the hotel is beautiful, and the location is great. The bar kitchen staff is amazing- especially Lauren! The not-so-good: the beds are overdue to be replaced. Hard and sunken in. My body is still stiff. Overall: recommend. Just be careful on the beds!

Great experience all in all. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. There is a very professional standard that the staff adhere to as well, always placing customer needs first. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Everything you need and more. Would suggest getting the package for meals and drinks if you plan on having a good breakfast and coming home later in the day / evening for some coffee, drinks and small snacks included in the breakfast charge. Enjoy!

I just wanted to give a shout out to the staff at the Capitol Hilton. I arrived back to the hotel from an event at 10:50 p.m. . I had had light appetizers earlier in the night but knew I needed to eat. Nothing was open and it was raining. So I called room service and they said it would be 45 minutes before they could bring me a sandwich. I explained that I was type 1 diabetic and that I needed to eat if they could please rush it. Literally 5 minutes later there was a knock on the door with a bowl of soup and some bread and a bottle of water. The gentleman said this is complementary until we can get your sandwich up here. I thought that was so kind. #peoplearegood

Tranquil and luxurious venue for professional meets. Arrived somewhat late in the evening when the chaos had died off somewhat, so there was ample street parking (free after 2200hrs), but valet parking is available on request. Overall, a great venue
