Just think it would be nice if you inform people of your no show policy before it happens. Been coming here for 3 years always been satisfied always recommend the place. Very dissapointed upon trying to make an appointment today that they would only take me on a walk in basis and that won't work with how much I get done. I understand it was my fault for missing. I'm a working mother of 5 and things do happen but one was recent and the other two were last year. Doesn't make sense. Just hoping to save others in the future I guess!

I had my hair done today and I am completely dissatisfied with the results. I had shown the lady who was responsible for coloring my hair a picture of what I would like done. I knew it would not be exact but I expected it to be similar. It was far from even being close to what I had paid for. When the gal was finished she asked if I liked it. I expressed the fact that I was completely disappointed in the outcome. I asked if it could be fix since it was not my fault it had turned out the way it did. I was told I would need to pay for them to fix their mistake. The student did not wash all of the product out of my hair. I left with the chemicals still in my hair. I was also charged for a hair cut that I did not receive. I feel as if she was in a rush as she had mentioned she had to get to her place of employment. My hair now has a yellowish tent to it. I spent nearly 6 hours there to be let down. I am now having to pay another hair stylist to fix this ladies mistake. My feelings and satisfaction should not have been dismissed. I was a paying customer who paid to have my hair ruined. It would have made such a difference if they expressed that they cared.

Always liked this place (for ~30 years), then I went in 2 weeks ago to get a haircut and they insisted that I answer a line of ridiculous questions and sign the new form they are pushing (and its not a waiver because a student cuts the hair). I refused, and they would not cut my hair. I am disappointed that my privacy is not valued here, and is somehow grounds for refusal of service. To me, this sounds like discrimination...any good lawyers out there see anything here? Even if not, it still feels wrong. -Post owner response- The form was never offered as a waiver, I clarified this with Skylar McCaig the FIRST day I was refused service. The second day you were all in Lincoln for a lobbying adventure, and I was refused again, despite Skylar telling me I would not have to sign the form ever again (he'd make certain of it). Well, he didn't. Here's one of your ridiculous questions that is none of your business: "What do you like about your hair?". How is that REALLY any of your business? Its not. I didn't need to sign for my groceries last week or take a survey before they'd let me shop "What do you like about shopping for groceries?". Why do you think you can do this to people? Did somebody sue you or something? How about a little transparency?

Have been going to capital ever since I was kid and now bring my kids to the school too. My recent peel and facial experience with my friend was awful! I waited 45 minutes while the student had to set up the room since they marked my peel as a facial and the student had never done one before. The service I received was so quick, it wasn't worth the time spent waiting around. Felt nothing and didnt notice any pinkness or anything to show me it was effective. Also was promised that my birthday discount would be applied to both facials and then they rejected the secondary one since they stated they already discounted it due to them not being able to provide a full service since she was allergic. My hair service was great! But I was there from 11:15- 5:20pm. Feel like the quality of the services in the esthetic side have gone down hill. My trust has been lost....

usually I'm very happy with their work, I've had hair colors done, updos and haircuts. never had a problem until this last weekend. I had an appointment to get my hair styled for MY WEDDING. I got a call Friday confirming my daughters and my appointments. I get there at 8:15 AM on my WEDDING DAY and the 1/10 of an inch of snow caused them to CLOSE! While I understand these are students and they need to be safe, there was NO reason, the weather was fine, a little snow on the ground, and barely that, the streets were dry. What upset me the most was the lack of a phone call to say they wouldn't be open, so I go there and sit for a while before I call and find out for myself they are closed. Very disappointing.
