This place is pretty cool. They've got beer tastings, pints, pitchers, and food. They've changed their menu since the last time I was there and unfortunately they got rid of a few good ones, like the pretzel. They have interior and outdoor seating. Outside they've got a dedicated smoking area, jumbo jenga, and another game to entertain yourselves. They've also turned their bacci ball area into a sandbox for kids. You used to be able to bring your dogs but I think they've been given the boot for some reason. Poor Fido. All in all still a pretty good place to hang out for a beer with friends.

Large taproom inside the brewery, with an equally large outdoor area for the warmer months. Great selection of beers on draft, plus a few bottles of more limited brews that you can drink here or take home. A dedicated line for beers to go is a really smart move. The only negative thing is that you have to purchase tokens (and even a glass of you want small samplers) for the beer.

Awesome place to spend an afternoon or evening!  Great beer selection and tasty food as well as live music on Sundays and outdoor beer garden in the summer.  Winter beer garden is in the brew house, and they bring in the corn hole and jenga blocks.  Very hip spot to hang out.

Great brew pub experience.  Noisy fun atmosphere.  Good snacks and vegan friendly.  Valet parking!

Captain Lawrence is a pretty sizeable brewery located in Elmsford. The beer is decent and the outdoors area is really well set up. The inside is organized really well to serve customers in a quick and efficient manner. The 2 biggest issues are the parking situation (there are literally not enough spots at times) and the fact that they no longer keg all of their beer for on premise consumption, choosing rather to can and sell to the masses that line up. When I lived closer, I really enjoyed visiting to try all of the new options as they were released on tap. I understand that cans are where the $$$ is, it's just disappointing to show up at a brewery and only be able to drink beer you could purchase at any liquor store in the tri-state (with only a couple of exceptions). They also used to offer all of their beer to sample for one poker chip, but now only offer some options in larger (and pricier - 12 oz for $15) options.
