A group of us had lunch there recently.  The Cabin has a decent selection of salads (although I was concerned to learn that they were still using romaine, & I had no idea of their source).  My burger was good, and the fries were crisp outside and tender inside.  The calamari that two people ordered was "chewy;" I declined an offer to share, since I've recently had calamari that melted in my mouth in a pub-style place.  Although the place didn't seem all that crowded, the waitress assigned to us seemed to have some trouble keeping up.  I can only judge by the lunch entrees, which were fine.  I don't know what the universe of choices is like in that area, but this place seems like a decent option for lunch -- probably better suited to couples, families, and smaller groups of friends.

Had some time between appointments and we came for an early lunch.

This place has been here forever and sort of feels that way.

A Cob Salad was prepared nicely and the dressing was delicious.

Hot Meat Loaf sandwich with Truffle Fries and a Pickle slice was a very large sandwich portion but was mediocre and a little too much tomato sauce on one end for my taste.

Very dark, obviously old,  interior which kind of feels a little confining.

I guess they want to reflect the restaurants old character.

Nice friendly service in this casual restaurant with bar area.  Nice variety of favorites and comfort foods for appetizers and main courses.    Great place for a burger, pizza, or more.  Unassuming on the outside but nice and comfy inside with great food.

food was excellent, as always. the service tonight, was unusually bad. This is not our usual experience. Let's say that it was so bad that a manager said the meal was on the house. He did the right thing which is a credit to the restaurant.
