The staff was very professional. This was our first time there and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They even offer you a credit card if you need any assistance with the cost of service. I have never had this option at any other vet. The whole staff is very caring. They give you a update call and explained everything about your pet after the procedure and the following morning. This place is very awesome and highly recommended.

I injured my dog pulling into my driveway. The staff helped get him inside and evaluated. That part was acceptable. The rating is based on the Friendliness of the staff, doctors, later into my dogs stay etc. Very cold Bedside manner. My dog was there for about 3 days. The pricing that was given to me changed multiple times without clear explanation. The surgery they performed through no fault probably of their own didn't work and I ended up taking my dog to a different vet because the pricing was outrageous for the next surgery and it was like starting over and the options weren't very clear. As a side note they refused to stabilize him without receiving the full payment first. Maybe every emergency vet does that. I don't really know but what I do know is prior to leaving my dog with them they agreed to accept the rest of the payment once I returned home to get the card info but while I was at the hospital caring for my husband who was also injured during the event, the representative called non stop saying without the full payment they wouldn't be able to stabilize him. It just didn't seem like they understood why I hadn't called back in 20 mins and I thought they already stabilized him before I left. Just displeased, wouldn't recommend unless a true emergency and then once you can get them to another vet - run asap.

Do Not Recommend!I took my dog into Care, he was unable to walk or do much of anything on his own. We carried him in, when it was time for him to be examined, they tried to drag him to the room and get him to walk, when he was clearly carried into the animal hospital. They did not offer to carry him or anything so I asked where I could take him since he couldn't walk. I was very surprised that I was not brought back into the examination room with my dog. They examined him and came out with a bill for everything that needed to be done. They would not start any procedure until they received payment. We went back and forth on the bill about what was necessary and what was not, every few minuets they would go back and rework the bill and come back out with a new total. By the time i had left the hospital that day they had done multiple tests and had stacked my bill to a hearty amount, yet could not give me any answers or a diagnosis. I left him over night since they had him hooked up to IV's. Upon picking him up in the morning they could still not tell me what was wrong with my dog. I am very disheartened by this place, I wish I could say it was a good experience, but i will never be returning.

My 2 young children and I brought our cat here after he wasn’t eating or walking around. The entire staff was so nice and welcoming. They even helped me with my baby and when we were done they carried my cat out to the car for me. The vet had superb bedside manner, was super practical and honest. The price was so reasonable. I wish every experience could be like this one for our family! Thanks so much!!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I do not recommend going to this place. Last year, we brought our cat, Audrey, in because she was puking and meowing. We took her here and they did tests and couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. We saw Dr. James McConnell and he ran tests to determine what could be the issue, but did not have a definitive answer. They said she could be discharged after staying 2 nights there. The second night she stayed for fluids. When we picked her up, she still didn't look or act like her normal self. I guess it is expected with staying there for 2 nights, but even with that she acted different. We dropped her off Thursday May 4, 2017 and picked her up Saturday May 6, 2017. On Sunday I called CARE and spoke with the receptionist because Audrey was meowing and acting like she was in a lot of pain. I thought it was time to put her to sleep because I hated seeing her in so much pain. The receptionist spoke within Dr. McConnell and she relayed back to me to give Audrey more time and that McConnell said it was too soon. Later that evening , Audrey died. I remember vividly because she died on May 9th at 12:04 am and my birthday was May 8th. I called and left a message and waited for a return phone call and finally after calling them at least 3 times, Dr. McConnell finally called me back and told me that he couldn't give me an answer as to why she died. He then proceeded to say that when she left CARE she was fine, making me feel horrible and like I did something wrong. He had no empathy. His bed side manner was atrocious. I can't understand how he is able to be in this field. I was kind to him on the phone because I think I was in shock and I just try and be kind in general, but the more I thought about how he spoke w me, the more it bothered me. I would NOT go here. If you have to take your loved one, I would go to The LifeCentre in Leesburg instead. Horrible experience. I wish I didn't leave my Audrey there for 2 nights. Also, when the tech came in to go over paperwork, my spouse said she didn't think Audrey needed a cardiologist consult. The tech said she went and asked and she said that wasn't an option. How are they able to tell us this? It isn't about the money. We would've done anything and everything we could to make her feel better. After all the tests they did and over $4,000 we spent to see what was wrong with our baby, we got NO ANSWERS. Made me honestly believe they really only care about money. Horrible experience. We will NEVER go back.
