Ours was a somewhat complicated move since things were coming from three different places; however it was all handled with humor and professionalism. The driver, Dave Green, managed to bring every item we wanted from all three locations and he was helpful and patient during the unloading process since at least half of our items we had not seen in two years!  The crew was cheerful and willing to go above and beyond with placement, since some items were going to our daughters’ homes right in the same neighborhood.  Nothing was damaged and at the end of the day we were happy in all respects.

We called them to get an estimate about our move and what it would cost our family. Some guy named Walt came to my house and spoke to my wife about everything. Come the time to tell him we are not using their services , Walt slammed his book on my dinning table and gave my wife a horrible attitude... I want everyone to know about this guy and how unprofessional his attitude is and was towards my wife. He's lucky i was't home for it. If you want to use a professional team, fast and EXTREMELY efficient , go and call Danny at Volunteers Moving. They gave me the best price out of 6 companies called to give me an estimate. Everyone was charging $700 or higher and Volunteers Moving charged me $450 for everything. I will ONLY use them from now on.

All the people involved in our move were thoughtful and courteous.
Carey Moving & Storage kept us informed as to what we needed to do, when they would be there to pick our things up, and when the expected delivery would be.

They provided us with boxes to pack our things into at no cost, except for the one our large screen TV which we had the movers pack.
Probably one of the most important things is that absolutely nothing was damaged.

I would not hesitate to recommend Carey Moving & Storage to anyone.

I used this company over a year ago for my move to Texas and loved them. They were so professional and nice. I had nothing but good things to say. I used this company again when I moved back to Knoxville and their team delivered my belongings. I was incredibly disappointed. They showed up 4 hours late (which I was aware of and okay with, no big deal). They brought 5 men to unload the truck. Several of them were cussing and saying "These mother f**king boxes are f**king heavy". Two of them were carrying my coffee table up the stairs and pushing each other on the staircase holding MY coffee table and hit the corner on the railing and didn't say a word. Yes, my coffee table is damaged now. They paid no attention to the boxes that said "fragile". Most of them were friendly but the driver did not smile, didn't say thank you when I gave him tips to distribute to everyone, and when I asked him what to do about damages he brushed me off. As they were leaving I heard one of them say "Damages? We ain't damaged nothin". Needless to say, I just wish they had a tad bit more professionalism. It's been 2 weeks and no one has contacted me about my damaged coffee table and I filed a claim that same day.
