Food was on point! Really authentic Jamaican spices. I had the veggie roti with no onions, the coco bread and a garden salad no onions. It was a bit of wait and they also didn’t have all the menu items. I really wanted that Irish Moss, haven’t had one in a while. So I took a star away for those two issues but other than that it was excellent. Clean establishment, clean bathroom, as you can see in the pictures. Owner was cool and I’m always up to support black owned businesses. 💯

I forgot how good the food was at this place. Their curry goat is worth the price. Try the roti skin with your next entree! I recommend calling ahead.

People are right about having to wait forever for the food. Yes it’s good food don’t get me wrong but they are on CPT (colored peoples time) so if they tell you your food will be ready in 15-20 minutes, don’t worry about picking up your food for another 35-40 minutes. Don’t rely on this place to be a stop for your lunch break cause you WILL BE LATE ON YOUR WAY BACK. But this place is great on your day off or after work when you have lots of time on your hands

Pretty good spot, food was delicious, a little on the pricey side, but better than the normal DC area carryout. 

The order taker seemed to have an attitude, so quality of food is generally good, but service is sometimes compromised. The order taker wasn't horrible, just kinda detracted from the overall experience.

Be prepared for a wait, whether you call ahead or come in the store to place your order. This place could be a great local spot if they improved a few things that seem to be a consistent sentiment in other reviews...

The food is great and I had great service before. However, I walked in there 2 days ago to ask the lady a simple question and she was rude for no reason and had an attitude. That itself turned me away completely, you guys expect people to buy from y’all with attitudes? FIX IT cause y’all food is too high for that.
