I was trying to do a two car trade and was in a rush to get fair market value for them, while CarMax did beat the dealership they're still not even close to a fair market price. After I did finally get the cars traded in, they sold for almost exactly what I was expecting by using the tools available. Yeah, I could of benefited most by doing a private sale, but I did finally find a dealership willing to buy them from me for thousands more than CarMax offered. So do your homework people and be diligent when selling your vehicles.

Just bought my first vehicle from CarMax. Truly amazing car buying experience. There was absolutely zero pressure from my salesman and the entire process was EXTREMELY efficient. I will definitely go back.

This is the second car I purchased through Carmax, and in both cases have been satisfied with the actual vehicle.  The process is also satisfactory, including the free transfer from Omaha to KC. Our sales rep, M. Lark, was knowledgeable and friendly. We have yet to use the service department, and will provide feedback on that experience separately.

Such a great experience! Attempted going to another dealership and was completely turned off by the salesman.  I worked with Skip at Carmax and it was easy.  I never felt pressured and I felt that Skip had my best interests in mind when purchasing the car.  He advised me and walked me through the entire process.  Very pleased.  Plus- they transferred my license plates over to my new car!! Would recommend to any of my friends or family.

They were going through a remodel while I was there but no biggie. Fast easy process (for me at least). I knew what I wanted and had been emailing my salesman for a couple days. He went out of his way to assist me by personally transferring my vehicle from one store to another and came in to show it to me on his day off. I was in and out in 90 mins with all paperwork done. Great experience
