We had a wonderful buying experience at CarMax.  In addition to being able to test drive several different models to choose from, ours sales agent was incredibly fun... That is right, buying a car can actually be fun!  We can highly recommend the CarMax experience. This is our third vehicle from CarMax and each time it has been such a pleasant experience.  The quality of the vehicles is hard to believe.  We bought a 2014 Infinity Q60 that looks brand new!  Simply amazing.

We had an awesome car buying experience at Car Max recently after totaling our car in an accident. Will likely use them in the future for any and all car buying needs. There was no pressure, a great selection from which to choose, and we were in and done faster than if we had waited for a salesman to check with the sales manager on how great a price he could get us. Actually once we decided which car we wanted, the paperwork only took about 45 minutes. The price seemed both reasonable and fair because we had done our homework before we arrived at the showroom. And this time I do not feel like I was screwed by a used car dealer as I felt in every past situation.

I recommend you give Car Max a try if you detest the negotiation and closing process at other car dealers. I feel that you will likely not find a bargain there, but I don't think you'll get hosed either.

We also appreciated the professionalism of Nelson our sales associate and Anji who guided us through the paperwork. Thank you both!

They are great to deal with in the purchasing process....but the service department is TERRIBLE. Just try to make an appointment. It is laughably difficult. They NEVER answer the phone when you call (it has literally been ringing the entire time I have been typing this comment). And when you do finally get an appointment, when you show up they act surprised to see you. Happens every. single. time. The only reason I even go there is because it is much easier to deal directly with them when there is a warranty issue. But with my warranty up soon, I certainly will not be back. (Phone still ringing btw).

Carlos was Great!(sorry, I don't remember your last name, but former Marine :) 
He was very professional, and not pushy at all. He even put a Bow on the car I got.  
Also, Anji was a sweetheart! Her vibe was so welcoming and calming. I loved them both. Thank you so much.

We drove an hour and a half EACH WAY to see a Nissan Leaf at this dealership. When we arrived, AFTER spending time doing the test drive, we found out that the Nissan Leaf, an electric car, did not even have the charging cable. Upon talking to the managers, the only thing we heard were excuses about how they were not responsible for charging cables that could be "taken" by other customers since the car entered the lot. Next time, it would be more thoughtful and reasonable as human beings to apologize instead of making excuses and check your electric vehicles for critical parts. This would be like having customers spend a few hours on a weekend to come see a car without a gas tank. I am shocked by the thoughtlessness, irresponsibility, and lack of empathy from Carmax. It it were possible, negative stars would be appropriate.
